Would not connect with WPS and the website directions were difficult to follow. Once set up it works as expected.

We have a multi level home and this booster works great to help distribute wifi.

Bought the unit to move the ethernet closer to the solar connection in the garage. Before this, I connected the hub thru wi fi upstairs. The signal is not great. The hub kept on saying no signal and no connection. With this extension, I have not lose a connection. I can now look at my app to see if the solar is working and see the production in real time.

Extends signal to a second second floor on a concrete house. Works great.

I was skeptical about this, but it actually did work. Did not give beyond expected results but did improve my reception to farther apart bedrooms in the house.

Very easy to set up, the range is good for a good amount of room. I did have trouble using the app on my computer but was able to access the router through my phone with no issue. Definitely recommend for those that need to extend their wifi signal.

good for short distance expansion and easy to program

After trying to pair two SETEK extenders without success, I tried this unit. While it appears to be working fine now, it was a real project getting it connected to my router. The directions talk of the status indicator light on the front of the unit changing colors and blinking when it is either booting up, ready to pair, or successful. None of these color codes matched the current status of the unit. I ended up calling Linksys for tech help (you get 90 days of free tech help), and they spent an hour changing settings in the Linksys setup page. The technician was very patient and helpful, but the setup page still says that I have not configured the 5ghz band and the status light is a solid yellow rather than the green for normal function. However, the unit only cost $50 and does appear to be working OK, so go figure.

The extender was easy to set up and helps extend my WiFi into my backyard.

Not work well.. wouldn’t waste money We bought 2 to help extend… still had Comcast out because WiFi speed sooooo slow. Said we need to go a different and more expensive direction in order to improve WiFi…

needed something to extend the wifi through solid brick walls in a commercial building and this worked great. Added it to the end of an ethernet and suddenly we are getting 30mb where we were getting 5mb before.

This product is good but difficult to position. Requires too much attention but it did help us.

Good product, but what I didn't know before purchasing may have swayed me to not buy it. If you live in an older house, wifi range extenders may not be terribly effective as the wifi signal may not be able to transmitted. The correct route to to improved wifi in my circumstance was hard-wired mesh routing system. After some effort, the LinkSys tech support did a decent job.

The setup was fairly simple but the range was limited in my house and could not connect from my 2nd floor to the router. Not sure if this due to the noise in my cable line or the device as I had Comcast out a few weeks later to swap out my main router. Since it was simple to setup I would give it a try.
