I wanted to have my WiFi extended due to our home being 3 stories. This product helped to extend our WiFi

Step was adequately described by instructions. Meeting my needs to extend WiFi throughout the house.

Product works great and very easy set up. I would recommend it.

From 12 feet away from the router, clear shot, no walls, no wires or anything in the way, this thing sometimes says it's out of range. At other times, 50 feet from the router it seems ok. if it receives the internet, it seems to broadcast it fine. But sometimes I get the original router at almost the same strength as this extender. Sooo.... I'm guessing that the antennae weren't attached right to the board. Because of COVID, returning it for another one was too inconvenient to attempt. There are no screws, so i think I'll have to break it open to get inside to fix it.

After trying to pair two SETEK extenders without success, I tried this unit. While it appears to be working fine now, it was a real project getting it connected to my router. The directions talk of the status indicator light on the front of the unit changing colors and blinking when it is either booting up, ready to pair, or successful. None of these color codes matched the current status of the unit. I ended up calling Linksys for tech help (you get 90 days of free tech help), and they spent an hour changing settings in the Linksys setup page. The technician was very patient and helpful, but the setup page still says that I have not configured the 5ghz band and the status light is a solid yellow rather than the green for normal function. However, the unit only cost $50 and does appear to be working OK, so go figure.

I bought this to help extend my router. I liked the idea that it was wireless but to be honest, not sure I'd buy it again. It works, is easy to set up but it occasionally drops the link and has to be rebooted. It doesn't happen very often and my personal devices sometimes find it hard to connect to the strongest signal available.

Good product, but what I didn't know before purchasing may have swayed me to not buy it. If you live in an older house, wifi range extenders may not be terribly effective as the wifi signal may not be able to transmitted. The correct route to to improved wifi in my circumstance was hard-wired mesh routing system. After some effort, the LinkSys tech support did a decent job.

It seems to make a difference in speed but not by much.

The setup was quick and easy. Used it to extend single in church. Haven't had any issues with it since.

It took a little time to get it set up but works great! No more overage charges on my cell bill for going over my data.

Very easy to set up. However, it doesn't extend the wifi to the degree I had expected, and degrades the speed.

This has boosted my wi-fi range to reach the upstairs outer limits of the house. It was not as easy to set up as I was let to believe. I enlisted my son for help and even with him it took a long time to get it to work. It took two of us to set it up so we did not have to run back and forth from the router to the device to watch for the proper lights to flash.

Works great. Very easy to set up. Covers the weak areas and eliminates any dead zones.
