I liked the idea that it was wireless but to be honest, not sure I'd buy it again. It works, is easy to set up but it occasionally drops the link and has to be rebooted. It doesn't happen very often and my personal devices sometimes find it hard to connect to the strongest signal available.

There are possible reasons why your wireless extender is behaving that way. It could be the location, the reconfiguration, or the firmware needs an update. To resolve this issue, we suggest updating the extender's firmware, followed by a factory reset and reconfiguration. Also, it is recommended that your range extender is getting at least 50% of your router’s Wi-Fi signal and is located midway between your router and the area without Wi-Fi. You can also try to log in to the Spot Finder page and determine your signal and move the range extender according to the Spot Finder results. Please reach out to us so we can assist you accordingly. Worked very well for about 6 months or so. The the connection was on and off. I have since upgraded to a different system. If you need to connect multiple things, I would suggest to pay more for a better quality.

Bad: would not stay connected to my router which is less than a year old. I would have to unplug in constantly for it to reconnect. Returned it after about a week. Best Buy customer servicewas awesome

What an improvement

Most of our time is spent upstairs but the signal strength would always be missing the last two bars on all our devices. Ever since we purchased and installed the Linksys - AC750 Boost Range Extender, all our devices get full strength now upstairs. This is my first range extender purchase.
