If you are just trying to improve your WiFi strength in a small area it doesnt provide a lot of value. This is really for extending a signal over a large area.

The Linksys RE6300 should allow you to extend the connection of your router on the area that doesn’t reach the connection, especially for wireless. However, you may always consider the obstructions that may cause connection issues. You may try to update its firmware to the current one and power cycle it for isolation. You may also send us an email in case you have encounter difficulties with it so we can have you assisted by our Escalation Engineers at [email protected]. This has done an excellent job of boosting the signal up. Installation was very simple and I had the whole thing up and running in about 15 minutes.

I'm zooming with my family weekly and catching up on daily news articles while drinking a glass of wine. Easy to install although it did take 2 attempts but so far so good!
