I put it halfway between router and far end of house where WiFi was spotty.

However once I got it home and plugged in, and setup it worked like a dream! I am so glad that I chose this one. I get FULL signal strength even though I am in a house behind the house where the wifi is located. Could not be easier!

I trusted Linksys from previous purchases. For a non-techy person, the directions were clear, concise and simple. Didn't really improve the situation, so it must have been more of the TV apps that were lagging. Got a Flex box from Xfinity and things are just fine.

This may be better served in large open spaces or to project a signal outdoors but does not work well in my 1900's, 4,000 s.f. home.

To achieve maximum wireless coverage, we recommend relocating the unit to a spot where you're getting at least 50% of your router's WiFi signal and is situated midway between your router and the area without Wi-Fi. Using the Spot Finder page should help you find the best location.
