I put it halfway between router and far end of house where WiFi was spotty.

I purchased it to provide a "hearing aid" for my laptop, which has developed a sensitivity problem getting the wifi signal. It is helping; I no longer have to be within 10 feet or so of the router. So I would recommend this product.

Works as advertised, just know that the second location isn’t going to be nearly as strong as the main source. So if you have any heavy internet usage in mind, that may be an issue.

This may be better served in large open spaces or to project a signal outdoors but does not work well in my 1900's, 4,000 s.f. home.

To achieve maximum wireless coverage, we recommend relocating the unit to a spot where you're getting at least 50% of your router's WiFi signal and is situated midway between your router and the area without Wi-Fi. Using the Spot Finder page should help you find the best location.

But I think I found out that the issue is more than likely the PC and not the connection(tested on my phone and higher speeds than the PC in the same spot using the extender). So I did get a fast connection, it just exposed the real problem.
