Plugged it in and had to go ariund looking for spots that make it better for use. The directions are a but off and confusing however made it work. Also i had to plug it in in an outlet where a fan or no other items are around it or plugged into same outlet

Great product!! We looked a long time to find something that would work in our home. We are glad that we finally found just the right extender for our computer!! It is easy to install!

Pretty strait forward set up only thing was I couldn’t get anywhere w it. Went back and fourth between Linksys & bestbuy customer support and they couldn’t even tell me what was wrong. I even ended up calling spectrum and they said to try either place again and still go no where. After many phone calls, YouTube vids and attempts on my own via instructions I gave up. 80 bucks For nothing.

Ok. Maybe I should have spent more money. Went from 2 bars to 4. Big house. Router is in the basement. Definitely is an improvement no more buffering.

Seeking something to give my wifi a little extra oomph. This performs adequately although it occasionally drops the signal even though it is a small house (1 story, and decide is press than 100 feet from the router. I will recommend it but with the noted reservations. Easy to set up. Good price.

Product works great. Only reason I give it 4 stars is because I returned this one for the 1700 series I think it is. I needed more range. So I had to upgrade . If you don’t have a house that is too big then this will work just fine for you.

This was bought for my boss because the signal in his office was very weak. After installing this product the strength of the signal was amazing. A very happy boss

The range extender has worked to add some range, but the trade off is the WiFi is extremely slow while using the extender. And, I'm not talking about streaming or games, it is slow for just loading a news article or email. My other frustration is it seems like it wants to be the designated source, even when I'm really close to the router, the extenter always wants to be the device that my phone or lap top or ipad uses, and then I have to go in manually and change the source for my WiFi. Frustrating. Perhaps a more expensive one would work better.

Had serious buffering issues in house. After installing was surprised at the speed the tv was and no buffering. Worth every dime spent!

Purchased this item after having issues with my wifi router reaching my room. Signal strength was pretty low considering my room is in that opposite end of the house from where our router is set up. This wifi extender did exactly what ilike stated it could do!

Easy to install. Works different than I had originally expected. It's basically like having an extra wifi source rather than what I thought was going to just extend the range of the 1 wifi source.

Installed two extenders and they're both working very nicely. This item is a bit more expensive than other small extenders, however, I will say it's well worth with no problems.

Good range but sometimes the signal goes out. I don't know if it was the extender or my router so I'm still giving it 4 stars. No longer use the extender, I went with a mesh system which gives a wider range area but still loses signal at times.

Works better for streaming Xfinity than Firestick. Unit did not connect easily even when all components were within sight of was here other....took many attempts.

This device seems to have limited range than expected.
