Using this ONLY for nestcams that are located outdoors as they had intermittent connectivity issues. This range extender is indoors but much closer to cameras then router...Doing a great job of keeping connection.

It's super easy to set up and covers the rest of the dead area even outside.

I had to sync it twice at start up but moving the device from 15 feet to 5 feet from the router solved the sync issue.

It was very easy to set up and does what I need it to.

Make sure you read the directions thoroughly. I almost returned it to the store. But it extends our wifi. Installed in my sons room so he doesn't have any problems with his gaming.

Unstable at best

It is unstable at best. Sometimes a phone will connect through the extender, sometimes not. It behaves this way on multiple devices. It also randomly disconnects from the router. I would not buy this again.

We can stabilize the performance of the unit by making sure that it is equipped with the latest firmware after the initial setup. You can also use another ethernet cable in connecting it from the main router/modem. The behavior is far from expected and we'd like to have our Escalation Engineers lend you a hand forward. When setting up the Linksys RE6300, we recommend it to place it somewhere near with the router before relocating the extender. Also, upon relocating it, we must ensure that it gets enough or at least 50% of the connection from the router. You can basically make it copy the routers configuration so you don't have to configure nothing different from what you already have configure. This is great!

This does its job as it is supposed to, the signal has definitely improved but not significantly.

Good customer service at Linksys as well. Had to call once to help with set-up. No issues so far. Range works from my upstairs source to my downstairs tv easily.
