We have had no lag time on the tv downstairs since setting this range extender up. The wireless router is on a floor above.

Noticed we've still had a couple random disconnects which is the only reason it's not a 5. Trying to determine if it's that or the router and if it's the router I'll go back and adjust the rating

For a stable connectivity, make sure that your RE6300 Extender is running on its latest firmware version and is relocated to a spot at least 50% of your router's Wi-Fi signal. It could be that the extender is not getting an optimum connection from the router. Have you tried moving it closer? If that won’t help, try checking if there’s an available firmware update. Signal could be stronger

Needed to have the ethernet jack close to my security monitor which was the whole purpose of the purchase. It serves its function and his compact against the wall on the plug.

The placement of the RE6300 and the type of router that you're using are just a few of the factors that can affect the unit's performance. Make sure that your range extender is getting at least 50% of your router’s Wi-Fi signal and is located midway between your router and the area without Wi-Fi.

Works Well!

I have a Duplex Apt (Two Floors). Since I purchased this, I haven’t lost connection. Works well.

I now can reach the signal from the very back outside of the house to outside front of the house.

I did have a problem trying to get it to pick up the signal. So instead I justplugged it into the Ethernet jack and boom, it works GREAT.

A proper placement might help to improve the coverage. To maximize the extender, we recommend placing it in between the router and the area that you’d like to cover, as long as it still can get optimum connection from the internet source.
