I was getting a faint Wi-Fi signal in the front corner of the garage and now I get 2-3 bars inside the building. Great price!

We thank you for the feedback. The extender is not designed for use outdoors. It is also expected to work as long as it has a stable Wi-Fi connection from a source (a gateway or a router). My last range was a glass top so I decided to stay with that style. The item seems to be of good quality other than the knobs which feel a little flimsy. I liked the features, multiple heated areas (small/large pans) and locking features.

It could be that the extender is not getting an optimum connection from the router. Have you tried moving it closer? If that won’t help, try checking if there’s an available firmware update. Lots of interference!. Put extender upstairs. Tried several locations. Never found one that was great (full green). However unit does give me better signals upstairs than without it.

Needed to have the ethernet jack close to my security monitor which was the whole purpose of the purchase. It serves its function and his compact against the wall on the plug.

Unstable at best

It is unstable at best. Sometimes a phone will connect through the extender, sometimes not. It behaves this way on multiple devices. It also randomly disconnects from the router. I would not buy this again.

We can stabilize the performance of the unit by making sure that it is equipped with the latest firmware after the initial setup. You can also use another ethernet cable in connecting it from the main router/modem. The behavior is far from expected and we'd like to have our Escalation Engineers lend you a hand forward.
