Works, but not as expected

I have to switch to this when I'm closer to it. Not the best for my place but it works to get connection in another area where my normal wifi doesn't reach.

The Linksys RE6300 is recommended to have a unique wireless network name. However, you can actually set the settings of your Linksys RE6300 to make it the same as your router's settings. Just access the web-based page of the range extender, go to Basic Settings, and check the radio box that says Make same as router settings. Great for metal pole barns

This works great mostly all the time. From time to time. It won’t send a signal but I’m thinking it’s due to it being far from actual router.

A proper placement might help to improve the coverage. To maximize the extender, we recommend placing it in between the router and the area that you’d like to cover, as long as it still can get optimum connection from the internet source. Owned for 5 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to give a stronger WiFi signal to my Ring spotlight cameras that are located on the stucco exterior walls to my home which I use for security cameras. I was getting a weak signal before but now both cameras are much stronger. I also added a Ring motion sensitive spotlight camera inside the garage which is detached from the house and my Ring WiFi extender that's in the garage was able to get a good signal from the Linskys inside the home as well. Now, I can probably add a TV to pick up Pandora music as well as Netflix and other Smart TV apps.
