Terrible range
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Didn’t do much on 150ft range. Had to disconnect and use another device
No, I would not recommend this to a friendBrand response from Linksys Staff
Posted .Hi, JeffC,
The actual range will depend on your network environment as every home has a unique setup. But, there are ways to improve it such as keeping it away from physical obstructions and the common sources of interference like microwave ovens, cordless telephones, Bluetooth devices, and such. Also, we recommend keeping the extender running on the latest firmware as it’ll greatly help with the overall performance.

WiFi extender
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up. Increased WiFi so wireless cameras would work. Doesn’t really support WiFi calling that much.

Linksys - WiFi extender
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to give a stronger WiFi signal to my Ring spotlight cameras that are located on the stucco exterior walls to my home which I use for security cameras. I was getting a weak signal before but now both cameras are much stronger. I also added a Ring motion sensitive spotlight camera inside the garage which is detached from the house and my Ring WiFi extender that's in the garage was able to get a good signal from the Linskys inside the home as well. Now, I can probably add a TV to pick up Pandora music as well as Netflix and other Smart TV apps.

Set up was a little challenging. But now I can stream movies in my room and will never have to get out of bed. Ever.

Good connection
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up and works well. I tried using other extenders but either they did not connect at all or the connection was intermittent.

gives a little boost
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This signal booster does help. We can sometimes use 2 devices at the same time. It depends on the time of day and how many people are on line in our area. Streaming has gotten better, so I would give this booster an 8.

GOOD EXTENDER
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy set up. Had to call NETGEAR a few times to make sure it was set up correctly because my router is supplied by my cable company and is not a NETGEAR router.

Maybe
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Connects and disconnects. Light is not green is like an orange light. Unknown reason why light is orange.
No, I would not recommend this to a friendBrand response from Linksys Staff
Posted .Hi, Superb,
An orange light could mean a weak connection with the router or the extender is not connected to it at all. Have you tried moving it closer? Let’s have our Escalation Engineers assist you further.
