Very stable and reliable mesh router system
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Linksys 6 mesh network has been great from day one. What I look for in a mesh network is really the stability, especially if you have 50 devices or so connected at home, like me—and this mesh network delivers. 1) Easy set up. It takes a while to set it up, using the app. But it was made as painless as possible. My whole network is up and running in half an hour—this includes all 3 units—main router and two nodes. The lights for set up are very helpful and the app guides you through it each step of the way. 2) Very reliable connection. Anywhere I go in our 2000+ sq ft home, I get a signal and the speed hardly changes. The signal stays in a pretty narrow range—meaning, I get 180-200mbps almost everywhere in the house, even in the farthest corners, I get good wifi performance. 3) No device drops! I had much faster mesh networks (hitting over 400mbps) and I experienced drops in a connection to one of my appliances, or it takes time for a voice command to execute on lights. This linksys 6 system has been very stable on my wifi devices and it makes it easy for my whole home automation system. 4) Design is simple. I can simply put it in one corner and it is almost invisible—like a home post / pillar or wall hump. I like it that each unit has its own ethernet output jacks. This enables me to hardwire more items in places far from the main router. My only complaint for this, inasmuch as this device is very stable, is it is not blazing fast. Although in LinkSys defense, numbers can only mean numbers. A speedtest of 200mps in one of the farther rooms where it used to get 300mbps from a former “faster” router does not really make a difference when the kids are on roblox or watching videos. I have not tried it for gaming yet so I cannot speak to that. But it is very reliable and has not failed me, even on high traffic times when the kids are home, and everyone watches on 4K, and I have a late night zoom meeting I need to hop on to. I actually almost forgot it, after setting up, because I did not have lags or waits in pages loading or downloads or video buffering lately. If you want a worry-free mesh network system, I recommend this one.

Good Coverage Slow System
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Extended my coverage to provide Wi-Fi throughout a detached garage. Coverage and speeds are as advertised. However, the "automatic" setup and internal system operations are very slow. Had to reboot a couple of times to get devices to connect to strongest signal. Stationary devices would connect to a node or the router with a very weak signal strength while another node was closer and offered a full strength signal. Finally, let it "operate" overnight to communicate and attach the right node to the right device...which it finally accomplished for most devices, but not all. The app is slow and restart of the system is very slow.

Posted .Hi, Rich,
Optimizing the settings is crucial for enhancing the overall performance of the nodes. In the meantime, confirm that the nodes are operating on the latest firmware and utilizing the less congested Wi-Fi channel. Additionally, ensure that you are using the latest version of the app.
If you encounter persistent challenges with the nodes' operation, please reach out to us at LinksysCares@linksys.com, and we’ll have someone assist you. Just include your contact information and a link to this review as a reference.

WiFi
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Already owned the initial set but needed extenders due to the distance from the router. This should do the job. Now if I can only get them set up. I'm giving it all stars based on the initial set up.

Not bad and good coverage for multilevel house.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the most part it's good. It dropped out once so far after a month of no issues. It came right back up after 3mins of the outage and haven't had an issue since. Not sure what caused the issue, the LAN worked but Wifi wasn't working during the outage period.

Great value
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Exactly as I expected. Great value. I needed to extend the wireless in my house and add a few Ethernet ports at the same time. This did the trick. It’s not the fastest out there but it does fine for most use cases.

Easy and fast setup
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Linksys Atlas is a Wi-Fi 6 Dual-Band Mesh Router system that is very easy to set up using the Linksys App. Wi-Fi 6 is the latest standard that increases the speed even further. This is not the first Linksys system that I have owned, and the setup experience has always been simple and straight forward. The individual nodes fit in with just about any décor and have a simple modern look that blends in with its surroundings. The two nodes easily provide coverage throughout my 2300 sq ft. house including the back and front yards and garage area. They are rated to cover a 4000 sq. foot area. The AX3000 version comes with two regular size nodes, and you can easily add additional nodes if you need them. Linksys packaging is great, and I have come to expect it from them with everything they sell. Set up: I easily connected the main node via the RJ-45 cable that was included in the packaging and just followed the set-up procedures in the App. The second node was easily connected in the app by just following the directions. You do have the option to wire them with Ethernet if you wish, but mine was a little far away for that to be logical. Performance: My cable modem speed is 400mb down and 20mb up. I am seeing speeds faster than that in the times that I have checked but these can actually handle much faster speeds. I have not noticed any slowdowns or buffering while multiple devices are streaming in our house either. I have about 38 (50 devices are supported with this model) wireless devices that have been connected and as far as I can tell, not one of them has had any issues. I have attempted to max out the system with multiple devices streaming videos with no issues to report there. Features: The app allows you to easily manage your system with some basic functions, however, if you visit the web interface, you have many more options, including the option to create separate 2.4 and 5GHz networks. This feature comes in handy for most of my IoT devices that require a 2.4GHz network to function. You can also set up some priority devices that you want to have the best speed possible, so I just set up my wife’s work PC and her phone to avoid any issues. These also give you the ability to set up a guest Wi-Fi and you can toggle it on or off using Alexa. My guests have been impressed with that feature. Also, you can keep a device from connecting to the network via the apps Parental Controls, and you can manage each device separately with a pause, schedule a pause, or block specific websites features. Over-all, I am very impressed with the speed and ease of use so far with these and you can easily add additional nodes as your needs require them. I have tested speed and number of devices with out any issues so far and I haven’t noticed any odd network drops or coverage problems. For the price, this system provides some good features and the fact that each node has at least 3 Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports is a bons for me, and I feel it’s the best way to connect some devices in my house. Linksys provides a 3-year warranty with these so I am sure I will have no problems as nearly everything I have owned from them so far has been solid and just worked for me.
