Excellent Wifi Range Extender with Easy Setup

When i received the Wifi Range Extender, i had it out of the box, plugged in, and setup within 20 minutes. The item comes with an "easy setup" guide pamphlet which is about 8 pages or less. Following the instructions, i was able to easily connect to my router. No CD to install, no complicated instructions. Overall i am satisfied. I now have good wifi range towards the back of my apartment, which i did not have previously. The router can be setup as a 2.4GHz or 5 GHz range extender. You get to choose. It also has a Gigabit ethernet port on the bottom. The only 2 items of concern i found are as follows: 1. The extender has a standard default password which i would guess is the same for all Linksys wifi range extenders. So if you fail to change it, or miss the instruction in the easy setup pamphlet on how to change it (which requires computer access), then anyone else who knows the default Linksys password for the range extenders could easily steal your internet access, even if you have a password on your regular router. 2. Usually a wifi extender shows on your network wifi list as "networkname"_ext. The easy setup even referenced this. For some reason after install the range extender had the same exact name as my regular router. So i was puzzled for a while thinking it did not install correctly because i could not see it listed on my network wifi spots. I had to log into the settings for the range extender and manually add the "_ext" to the network name. It then showed up separately on the list.
