Best Extender ever
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had many range extender none even previous Linksys produts quite had the performance or range I needed. This extender was easy to set up (I used the web interface with wizard setup) and within 2 minutes had a functioning 2.4 and 5 GHz nodes. The setup wizard includes a signal quality graphic to help you pick the best spot for the extender, if it is in the wrong place you unplug, it move it and reconnect to the extender, the setup will continue from were it left off, no anoying restarting !! This extender also has WPS so you can set it up automatically but I turn that off in my router due to security concerns. As for the range and the signal It is better than any previous extender I ever tried. I am getting 240mbs on my 5 ghz wireless AC with this extender using my Asus AC router. The signal is now availble throughout my house and my outside porch where I am writing my review. I have tested the router with Several android devices, An Iphone6 and Several different laptops running windows 10 and all of them had no problem connecting to this extender. I have had some difficulty with prevous routers and extenders with windows 10 devices, none of that with this device. With the small package, great price and easy setup this is the extender to get.

We had the spectrum man over for another problem and he said to take it back and get a 3 piece mesh WiFi. Still trying to solve the problem.

My 14 year old saved up his money to buy this product for his upstairs computer. After setting it up and using for about a week or so, he discovered that the original need that he purchased this item for was no longer necessary. So he realized he didn’t need it. My son goes between 2 parents and because it had been 15 days we can not exchange it. It’s sitting in the box and I am reminded why I stopped buying from Best Buy. Life is hectic and 14 days is not enough time. The return policy here is the worst one I’ve ever experienced.
