The Linksys AC1900 wi-fi range extender is perfect for a house that 2,700 square feet which was a nice surprise. I figured it would take 2, but 1 did the job perfectly and that's having 10 devices going. When our internet went up to 1Gbps we wanted to get the most out of it as our upstairs office was only getting about 250Mbps after the upgrade. Our modem is downstairs. So we tried the AC1900 and placed it at the top of the stairs. Our next big surprise was when the upstairs office saw an increase in speeds between 500-600Mbps. I figured we might get 350-400Mbps, but seeing how much better the range extender did, I can't praise it highly enough.

I couldn't find a way to hard wire my internet from the old house to the expansion without tearing down walls so this was the best solution I came up with and boy did it not disappoint, paired with my linksys EA9500 I have more than enough wifi and speed to cover all my devices across my hpuse

This is my 2nd unit. I'm very pleased with it's operation, it does exactly what i needed it to do. Very reliable unit.

This product is a good word-if extender with good range and good signal transfer. That being said, it want what I specifically needed to fix the problem I was having which is why I took a star off. Overall though a good product if you’re looking for an easy to use WiFi extender

Maxstream made my whole yard blaze with WiFi. All you do is plug it in. Set up is a breeze. We have a two story home with a large back yard, and I would constantly flip to LTE for Pandora when I was outside. Now the WiFi stays on the whole time I'm streaming.

I received this extender as a free sample in exchange for my honest feedback. The Linksys Max-stream Ac1900 is so far the best extender I have used, even compared to my whole-house system. When connected to the Linksys extender I have consistently reached download speeds at around 80% of what I get from the router's WiFi, while the upload speeds have been almost exactly the same. I am able to plug the extender into the outlet, while still having access to the other plug, which has been very handy. Also, the Max-stream's gigabit port has allowed me to connect some media devices that required Ethernet, one floor and 50 feet from my router. One downside I have seen, which really isn't that big of a deal, is that when connecting the extender to my router I have to choose which band I want to use, and only connect to at most two. Which can be difficult when the router has three bands to choose from. Overall, it has been a welcome addition to my home network.

I picked this up to try to extend the range of wifi in my house. I have to say it wasn't strong enough to get the signal out to my expansion. Other products are more effective.

The extender solved my network issues but I feel like its a little over priced. It does the same thing as my old extender which I gave it away to my dad but so far I found no difference in technology as the extender claim it uses a different method to transmit wifi

Using this range extender along with the Linksys EA9500 router to provide a wired internet connection to my wife's PC. Her PC has experienced issues with WIFI in the past and now connects to the Range Extenders Ethernet port.

Bought this to assist with signal when my router was on the top floor. It worked great! Now I use it as a repeater and have my main PC running off the Eathernet port. Get almost better sign a than my main router! Highly recommend!!

I received this range extender as a sample product from Linksys friends & family program, it is super easy to setup and offers exellent extended coverage, I now have full signal strength at nearly every point in my apartment. it's compact and dosen't take up the entire plug in. If you have dead spots in your home this is the answer, I've tried two other brands and they didn't help at all, ended up returning them, but this one is the ticket, it works great! I have found that Linksys always comes through.

This helped me so much because I was tired of going upstairs in order to game or use my laptop just to connect to Wi-Fi. Very easy set up. Followed the directions directly from the Linksys website. When connecting the extender to the router it needs to be really close to it when first setting up. Took me no more than 10-15 mins. Works well with a netgear router if you have one.

Talk about easy setup! It works great, I am truly pleased with this product.

Minimal instructions but the setup was so easy, don't need many instructions. The setup was easy and the definitely wiped out the dead spots in the house. I placed the extender in the basement (using it as a wireless extender), then moved my devices to the _EXT SSID. Streaming video and audio is much smoother on those devices.

I plugged this in and set it up in less than a minute via my phone! Very easy and works great. I'm very happy with this.

Excellent experience with my (third) Linksys - MAX-STREAM™ AC1900 from Best Buy. Purchased on-line and delivered free within 2 days. Installed right out of the box. We live in a 1930's brick home with plaster walls, and the range extender makes a huge difference with all of our devices.

First off, I would like to state that I got this as a free sample from Linksys for an honest review. Pros: Great product and easy setup. It also works as a great Wi-Fi to ethernet adapter. Cons: The speeds from my router to this are cut in half due to the band I have it set on. (Not a fault of the product.)

Works well with all my IOT toys. The base station just wasn't getting the job done and I can anywhere in the house.

I never expected that this extender is awesome. It’s like I purchased a $600 router. Just read the instructions and it’s the easiest setup I have ever done. It’s a MUST to have when your home/office WiFi is slow. Linksys nailed it!
