I have had several dead zones in my 9000 SF home. This range extender has eliminated all of them. Easy WPS setup took only 2 minutes. My wifi speeds match those of the wired computers. I couldn't be happier! Going back tomorrow to purchase another for my vacation home.

I've had this extender for a year but just recently started steaming live TV (with an app like HULU + Live TV). It was having problems with that type workload (losing connectivity, buffering delays, etc). I called Linksys Support asking for help optimizing the extender for streaming TV and the person was very helpful. She helped me optimize settings in my extender and in the primary wireless router provided by my cable company. We have not experienced any problems since the technician helped me 3-4 days ago. I no longer have to wonder how I'm going to fix my wireless reception problem in the upstairs area of the house. I only gave Ease of Use an Average rating because it's default setting did not work well for me and I could not find answers online as how to optimize extended streaming. I had to ask Support for assistance.

I bought this to go with my Linksys router and it works great UNTIL you connect to it and try to watch DirecTV. As soon as you connect to it, it will cause the DirecTV to Freeze up and you have to reset the DirecTV every time. I read another review that mentioned this and bought it anyways hoping to not have the same problem, but I did. I had to return it. If it wasn't for this issue with DirecTV it would be great. Linksys says it isn't them, DirecTV says it isn''t them and Charter says it isn't them. Meanwhile, I am the loser with no clear answers.

If you are having issue with a dead spot in your home. This will get rid of it. It is extremely easy to use and set up. It is small and will not take up a lot of space. I received a free sample from Linksys in exchange for my honest feedback.

This item was very easy to install picked up the wifi signal from both 4G and 5G signal. All signals ate full bars downstairs. Very happy

Ive only been using this device for a couple weeks but so far it's been more than capable. Setup wasn't too bad, and the wifi quality has been great for my garage. I stream my TV on it with no issues or hiccups.

I got this because of the dead zones at my house, with this extender, it covers what's missing and has more coverage available.

This was very easy and painless to setup, so I thought it would be great. Nothing but headaches after that. They manual says to go to "http://extended.linksys.com" when connnected to it to modify settings. This never worked for me. While connected to the extender, some websites would load, while others such as Amazon and Google would give me connection errors. Am very disappointed with this product.

The range for my Wi-Fi is great now, the entire house can get the internet with a strong signal

Highly recommended. This is a great Wi-Fi extender. Simple to setup, I think it took me about 5 minutes using the WPS option. My coverage downstairs was poor and is now just as good as sitting right next to my router. I also love that is supports both the 2.4GHZ and 5GHZ frequencies simultaneously. Another useful feature is the Spot Finder Technology which indicates if you are to far or even to close the router.

The setup was quick. Great instructions on how close or far you are from your wifi.

I recently received this item from Linksys to test and review. I had an issue with set up as the extender had problems connecting to my router but once I got by that it worked flawlessly. The instructions also mentioned Spot Finder for locating the extender but I could not figure out how to use it. Once set up it worked well and provided a good extension of the area covered.

Works pretty well especially if you have a Linksys router.

I bought this bought this go along with a Lynksys EA9500 router I bought a couple months earlier. The EA9500 did not fully cover my house as expected (two story, 2600 sq ft, router in basement), so I bought the wifi extender. Unfortunately, the extender did not really help at all. In fact, overall, it made my internet experience worse. When I was about half way between the router and extender, my devices would typically connect to the extender, which is not as fast as a direct connection to the router. When closer to the extender than the router, I just didn't notice much of a difference. What's worse is my return experience. I am an ElitePlus Rewards Zone member and don't expect problems when I return things. However, when I returned the extender I was informed that I may not be able to return things anymore. Evidently, if a person returns a couple items within a certain time period, Bestbuy will no longer let that person return stuff. One of the reasons I buy so much from BB is because of the return policy. Then, if an item does not work as expected (as was the case with the extender), I will return it. I ultimately spend more money because of the security I gain from the return policy. I will definitely be more selective on what I buy and from where I buy it. Sorry BB, but you will definitely be getting less business from me because of this.

Do not waste your time buying any of the other ones. I found myself driving back to Best Buy twice because the other ones did not work. This one ended up being more but i now have it plugged in my garage and the wifi is TOP NOTCH!

Works just as advertised. Very easy to setup and use.

I picked this up because my wireless conection in my living room was horrible. My down load speed was 11 Mbps and my upload speed was 3Mbps. Installed this little beast in 20 minutes and checked the speeds again. 65.89 download and 7.11 upload. Great product....

Bought this yesterday to extend my wifi into my bedroom. I live in a one bedroom apartment, all open. You'd think this extender would connect fine, but nope. It wouldn't connect even with it plugged in right next to my home router. I tried resetting it, I tried unplugging it, even restarting my home router. NOTHING. I contacted support and all they did was give me the same steps I'd already tried multiple times and then disconnected with me without even letting me know. I will be returning this piece of crap. Not worth your money.
