Easy to set up. Just wish that you did not have to swap back and forth between router and extender. It should automatically switch you back and forth depending on signal strength.

I was having trouble getting a wireless signal in one of my bedrooms for a desktop computer and this acted as a relay for the signal. Now internet is super fast

Problems with gwtting order .2 cancelations and 4 month wait. Was sold items not needed for installation. Finally relieved clock radio and poor quality. After tv installation by geek squad the picture fluttered. Prior it did not. Had yo upgrade internet still continued. Replaced modem box and pd att. Still the picture fluttered. Finally they check the wiring to the tv and box. The wirers came loose during installation by gueek squad.

I could not get this device to work. The password given did not work, and I had no luck with customer service. Getting the device to establish a connection was no help because device had to be in the same room as router.

It works good with distance. Never have any problem.

It did not improve my 5g signal strength. During the setup, it keep telling me to move the extender further away from my router, but any further and it would have been at my neighbors house.

Worked as described. No hiccups, no glitches. Match SSIDs, encryption, network keys and the roaming through your house will be seamless.

I bought this because I didn't want an AP but an extension of my current Wi-Fi network. I liked the setup feature that allowed you to place the device in the optimal place, which I did so I was golden, right?. Since having the extender connected I was getting better wifi signal in our master bedroom via IPad and IPhone, which is what I was looking for. But the Amazon spot kept losing wifi signal when we were streaming siriusxm stations. I tried numerous reboots, of router, modem, extender, spot but it would always started doing it again. I do not remember this happening the first few weeks the extender was hooked up but it will not keep the spot connected now. I disconnected the extender and the spot never stops the stream now. I have to conclude that there is something wrong with the extender and after reading a lot of the reviews I'm not the only one that thinks this.

We have a big house and this makes it to where there's are no dead spots even by the pool.

I'll update my review as soon as I get this Linksys wifi extender connected. I've read the manual and I've watched youtube videos and I still can't get it. I got the light to turn solid green, but I can't connect to my wifi. It says I've entered the wrong password, but the password works when I unplug the extender. Anyway, I know it's the right password for my router. I need help!

Works great. No wifi dead zones. Even extends to garage.

I screwed up on first review. Once I figured out I was not connecting properly, problem solved.

After trying on many outlets, stable connection was not found for the entire place. Not close to 10,000 sq ft coverage indoors, more like 1,000 sq ft of reliable connection indoors but not great. Low connection quality occurs when using smartphones on wifi appx 15 ft away of extender.

Would not connect to my router. Spent over two hours trying to connect it and wasted time on with tech support who only suggested I return it and find something else. Not good.

Just purchased this item and have tried multiple times to get the browser based setup to work. My router does not have WPS so that feature is of no use to me. Even with full bars this device cannot connect and transfer settings. It is not an issue of the password, tried that and get a message for mis-matched passwords, it just refuses to set up correctly. Returning for a refund.

unfortunately the linksys ac1900 i bought was a previously returned , used and set up item . I couldnt set up the device thru the wireless option , i finally found the device on my wifi networks when i hooked it up thru the ethernet connection thru my modem set up with a different name _ EXT . Horrible experience , i put the blame on best buy for selling the item .

i bought this wifi range extender from bestbuy hopping to improve wifi signal on second floor. It literally slowed my wifi speed to at least 50% lower. Incredible - i tried relocating it to various places in the house - all with same result. This device is like a scam what a waste of money. Will return very soon
