I have never set up an extender before, so I was anticipating a few bumps along the road, but this was really simple. It walked me right through all of the steps and alone the way, if there were questions, I was able to access helpful information immediately that kept me on track.

Supposed to increase to 2500 additional sq ft but it barely give me 1000 sq ft.

Item works mostly well. For the price it is ok, BUT not a miracle maker. Signal is better then old one i had, BUt not super strong distance wise.

We had two very dead spots in my household due to the placement of our router. I was able to place this repeater right at the edge of the dead zone and bounce a signal into that dead zone. Setup was easy and I haven't thought about it since.

I am on the second floor and my wireless router is downstairs. I kept having connection issues. I bought this, linked it to my wireless and then plugged it into my room. I hooked a Ethernet cable directly into it and then into my computer. Fixed all issues I had with connection. I am not using it's wireless function but I can tell you the direct cable works great.

I bought this Linksys Repeater to get Wi-Fi access throughout my home as it was a very unreliable signal in certain parts. This Linksys - MAX-STREAM™ AC1900 Wireless-ac Dual Band Repeater with MU-MIMO works like a champ. Very easy to get it up and running. Plug it in and push the WPS button on your router and the repeater and it is up!! Fantastic!!

Put this in my son’s room so he would have an Ethernet connection for online schooling. Set up was simple using a browser - good tip - thank you! Connection has been reliable whereas previous Wi-fi was patchy. He uses his laptop for online gaming & he’s happy with performance as well.

Linksys Max Stream helped boost my internet signal to parts of my house where the signal was weak. My router modem is in the basement furnace room and I have a large house with 4 bedrooms on 2 levels. This dual band repeater gives better reception in all areas now.

I purchased this on the recommendation of a Best Buy employee. Was looking at a less expensive "extender", however after discussing the home layout and his explanation of the new technology I decided to go with his recommendation. Setup was a breeze, the instructions clear and easy. Works great, warning light from green to yellow warns if signal is diminished.

I had a WIFI weak spot in the room farthest from my router, but by adding this repeater, I now have full-house WIFI coverage. The only complaint is that I do have to connect my iOS devices to the repeater to do this. It would be great if the devices would seamlessly jump to the stronger signal of the Repeater, but they do not. This may be more of the iOS devices' problems than the Repeater's problem and may be solvable, but I don't know how to do it, so only 4 stars

Easy to install no issues, provides coverage in dead spot of the house.

I was having trouble getting WiFi through my entire house. Now that I have this awesome WiFi expander all my problems have gone away. This product is awesome

But had power outage and can't get it up and running again. Following directions to a T to reset, but I'm admittedly a tech idiot. So it just looks like an air freshener.

Works great on all devices (smart tv, tablets, computers) except my Samsung phone (keeps shutting of and back on).

THE GOAT!!! Solved our whole issue. Easy installation but does require getting on your internet provider website settings or something like that. I wouldn’t have been able to do it myself. But my husband was able to easily do it. He has average tech ability.

Bought two of these to bounce from one place to another place so far they are doing what they say they can do
