I'm not a techie, so this is a totally subjective, non-technical review. I needed a repeater to increase the strength of my signal on the second floor as my modem is in the basement. This repeater works well and I was able to connect my smart tv to it as well. Having the tv "wired" has worked better than connecting it over wi-fi. Overall I am happy with my purchase. The reason fir four stars and not five? Basically because I don't know enough about repeaters to give it five stars.

Nicely extends the WiFi to upstairs. Makes using phone and laptop much easier.

Our server is downstairs and the opposite side of the house from our bedroom. We were constantly losing wifi and using data. We decided to try the extender. It was really easy to set up, and NO MORE dead zones in the house! Great Product!

This device is easy to setup, and use. It extends the WIFI, and works with all devices requiring WIFI.

Bought the linksys RE7000 v2 Wifi extender, placed in outbuilding approximately 70' from wireless router. Signal now carries across the entire property with great signal strength!

Easy to set up. Works constantly. Only issue is doesn't reach as far as I would like.

Took just a few minutes to find my modem. Then you can move it were you want. Have good strong wifi now.

I used this access point to connect my Verizon Fios Router, as the Verizon wifi is very slow. i connected the Linksys by Cat 6 Cable. I can get the speed match the speed i have from Ethernet cable connection. i have no experienced of drop signal after 2 months used. it's highly recommended!!

i got this to extend my wifi a little more outside in my yard and it seems to be working fine

Great product. Very easy to install. It took care of my issue with upstairs computer.

Doesn't work very well. Constantly stops working or the signal drops. Many of my devices won't even connect to it, they say that the device doesn't have an internet connection or says that the extender doesn't support my device type. I had set it up as an extender at first, but also tried setting it up as an access point (via Ethernet cable). No matter which way it was set up, it wouldn't work correctly. I went through the instructions provided by Linksys each time, but for some reason the thing wouldn't work for long periods of time. The only device that could connect to it was my laptop, all my other devices would allow me to connect. Waste of time trying to get it to work, will be returning today.

This thing has been a lifesaver for many people I have helped setup. The range it can produce is pretty impressive and can travel through and around various obstructions to keep the signal going for a solid length.

Not the most expensive and not the cheapest but working well enough for the price

Exactly what I needed to extend my WiFi signal out to my detached garage. Gave me the extra distance I needed and was able to set up in no time. Extra distance needed was about 150 feet across the driveway to the garage.

Needed boost in older house with chicken wire in the walls to rooms upstairs worked great!!

I bought this to expand my wifi range. It did that, but the built in location finder was gimmicky. After finding my signal place was all over the place, I started to check it daily. One day it would say I was spot on and the next either too far away or to close. Very annoying. I ended up returning it for a Velop system and have had no issues with it since.

Bought this with my fingers crossed . It's been running for a while and it works wonders .
