Unfortunately my experience with this range extender wasn't the best. Connections were constantly picked up and dropped. Will revisit this review after spending more time with the extender.

For a stable connectivity, make sure that your RE7000 Range Extender is running on its latest firmware version and is relocated to a spot at least 50% of your router's Wi-Fi signal. Only drawback is that it creates its own network which is different than the original one unless you connect it with a Linksys router.

I had a dead zone in a work room and this device easily provided the needed wi-fi. It was easy to configure and install.
