Makes it difficult to get WiFi reception from one end to the other (and it’s only 1200 sf!). My daughter was having issues connection and with the world as it is now, she needed reliable service for online classes. Enter this repeater. BOOM! Connectivity with no issues. Well worth the money and outlet space.

It could be that the extender is too far from the router. You can relocate it nearer in the meantime while setting up, to make sure that it sees the router. If that doesn’t help, we can isolate this better at LinksysCares@linksys.com. Just include a link to this review as our reference.

Have no idea why but never had the problem before installing the extender. Wish I would have purchased the other system which has 3 extenders. Maybe I would not be having this problem. Unfortunately when I asked for help with this problem at the store the Best Buy salesperson seemed to know as little which is not very much. Just would have liked to known I could have had a different and better system.
