But unless you have a linksys router, which if I understood correctly could let your devices switch seemlessly between WiFi bands around the house, you will have to manually switch if you don’t have a comparable Linksys router. I hate that I would have to switch manually walking through my house. I guess that’s why people are starting to purchase mesh router systems. This product should work almost like that if you have a Linksys router that works with it.

The Linksys RE7000 Range Extender delivers WiFi Range of up to 2500 sq ft. You can try to relocate the extender using the spot finder feature to locate the best place to plug the extender.
