The concrete walls on either side are really limiting its range but, I am making the connection I needed and did not have without it. It survived summer number 1.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We live in a two story 2300 square foot house and this doesn’t extend the wifi like we expected it to. We followed the directions to connect it and the signal is weak at best upstairs. We connected it upstairs in the hallway about 15 feet from the router and just 15 feet from that is my bedroom, my wifi goes out more often than it works. I’m going to have to look for a better option.

The Linksys RE7000 WiFi Extender can extend your WiFi coverage up to 2500 sq ft. but wireless obstructions, operating environments, and building material can cause issues with the extender's performance. You can try to relocate the extender closer to the router for isolation.
