This thing picks up signal from my Netgear router at the opposite end of my 3600 square foot house from upstairs to the basement and broadcasts full signal to my basement. Excellent throughput and strong signal make this a quality purchase at a fair price.

For years, we couldn’t get our internet to work fully to the performance it promised. We cancelled cable etc. on a last ditch effort, I tried this repeater. OMG.... we still don’t have cable, but now stream all of our tv. Which saves us thousands a year. Best Buy!!!!

While the extender slows the speed down, it is still plenty good enough to get streaming video and podcasts.

Couldn’t get wifi connection for smoker grill but once he connected the extender, he was finally successful to smoke our meals outside and monitor the temperature and cooking with this device.

There are several factors that could cause a limited range such as physical obstructions, wireless interference, or a poor placement. You may try moving the extender around to get an optimum placement and make sure that it is running on the latest firmware.

However, I experience problems with ip addresses with windows 10 computers. I think the reported seamless roaming between these extenders and my Linksys EA9500 router is not seamless and therefore I have connection problems with some windows 10 pcs depending on whether they are connecting to the router or the extender... This is particularly evident with Asus computers. Consider mesh network rather than traditional router with these extenders.

I got the linksys signal repeater and I placed it in my kitchen. (It let's you know where the best place to put it ) I entered my wifi password. It was easy. Now my cam works fine. It doesnt buffer or freezes mid viewing.

This is an odd behavior for the range extender. There could be multiple factors that is not allowing the extender to reconnect to your main network. We can have our Second Level Technicians assist you with further troubleshooting.
