Used with Verizon modem

I used the directions for setup up using the webpage and got it working. I purchased it because the NINTENDO SWITCH wifi is seriously weak, plus to help out my other devices.

We’re glad to know that the range extender is working fine on your network. In order to improve its range, you can use the Spot Finder feature to determine if it’s too close or too far from your router. Also, avoid placing the router and the range extender near other electronics that may cause signal interference.
Moreover, the Linksys RE7000 features Seamless Roaming that allows you to move from one room to another and automatically switches your device to connect to the strongest Wi-Fi signal. The client device and your router should also support Seamless Roaming for it to work properly.

Faster than my previous router

I wanted him to be able to access the echo dot in case he needed to call me in an emergency. I was able to boost the internet with this product enough for him to be able to access the Alexa for emergency calls.

We noticed immediately that both computers in the downstairs began to work better. We had a stronger signal and it did not drop like it had been doing. We are very pleased with this repeater.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. There could be multiple factors that are causing this behavior for the range extender.
We suggest that you bring the range extender closer to your main router to check if there is an improvement on its connection. Should you continue to have these challenges, we can have our Second Level Technicians contact you for further troubleshooting.

User friendly solution

We FINALLY have usable and consistent wi-fi throughout the house for all our needs. I would definitely recommend. Easy to set up and no glitches experienced.

We already had a Linksys router and the pairing was very simple. We were able to find the best location to relocate both my router and repeater to maximize coverage within my house. We stream movies across the repeater flawlessly.

I love that you can also plug in the ethernet directly into the extender to enjoy the original wifi speeds.
