Helped to resolve Netflix issues where router is upstairs and this repeater was placed downstairs. Also has a great interface to help you with proper placement for best results.

It did the trick, we built an outdoor kitchen and needed the extra boost from the wi-fi.

Works perfectly, we get wifi on the other side of the house that is just as strong as it is by the router. It even gets the signal to our RV which is out back.

Don’t taste your money. Select a different extender and save yourself the headache. Disconnects for no reason at all. Does not stay connected with your router.

This product is exceptional for low WiFi coverage within a two story condo. This product is money well spent to anyone trying to solve problem at minimal cost.

I like this unit because it can be used a access point or a wireless extender. Since I pre wired my house when it was built I can basically put this unit anywhere in the house and use it as access point.

We can literally have a seamless wi-fi throughout the house with this Linksys model, so there is no need to log into a different wi-fi at all like other brands or models.

Overall, as with the vast majority of Linksys products that I have owned and/or personally tried out the MaxStream RE7000 does not disappoint, though it is a bit pricey for an everyday extender. Whether using the RE7000 for simple tasks related to web browsing on multiple devices simultaneously or for more heavy workloads such as streaming 4K video content from Netflix the RE7000 has done a commendable job on everything I have asked of it to this point. However, with all of this said I cannot help but feel that for 90% of folks, including myself, the RE7000 will be nothing more than overkill as the Linksys router I am currently using (the EA7500) does everything the RE7000 does and more, since the EA7500 is of course an actual router and not merely a range extender. Now this is not to say the RE7000 does not live up to expectations, for it surely has for me; no, what I am saying is I would be hard pressed to believe that most folks using a new generation router (such as the Linksys EA7500) would actually have a real need for the RE7000 as the router already does everything one will likely require of it and much more including giving the user(s) excellent range. Therefore, unless you live in an incredibly large abode or are dealing with rather unusual circumstances that would require a heavy duty range extender, as the RE7000 certainly should be considered by most, I would suggest saving the money on this extender and simply get yourself a new Linksys router.

Supports seamless roaming when you have compatible router which is a great feature.

I wish the handoff was a bit more seamless, though.

Works great in my sons room, which is in the basement, to boost the home internet. Allowed us to remove the ethernet cable from running down the stairs.
