Robust router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an upgrade from my old Asus dual band N router. My house is a small 1800 sq ft ranch and download speed drops significantly beyond 20 ft with my old router. Now I can stream 4k video at the far corners of my house. I get strong signals even when I am outside in my back and front yards.

Fine for the price...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It seems to work better than our wireless modem/router combo we got from the local DSL. I'm sure the 8mbps max that our ISP has is the bottle neck. No issues connecting/disconnecting from the router. All the troubles we have with the internet are directly related to the local DSL connection I'm stuck with. The range of the Linksys router is the only thing I'm mainly disappointed with.

Easy Setup
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setup was a breeze. Huge improvement over the previous router we had. Have 10+ devices on and no buffering on any device. Couldn't be happier with the purchase.

Terrific Device!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Replacing my existing router and range extender with this was far less problematic than I expected. One (very minor) complaint was that during the initial setup, it took forever for the router to obtain the modem settings. Upside was that the router was functioning well before that finished. With my earlier AC1700 router and dual-band range extender, there was no way I could stream my 4K digital content (haven't invested in a UHD Blu-ray player yet). With this, however, the content streams beautifully. Have already recommended this device to several folks

Network Prioritization
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just upgraded from my Netgear N750 and consulted with a few employees at Best Buy before this purchase. I have 10 devices connected at any time to the network and have been losing connection when I try to get work done. This router has provided reliable high speed signal throughout my whole 1700 sq ft house. My favorite part is that I can prioritize my laptop on the network so it always gets the most reliable fastest signal. Great product so far. Best Buy in Watertown NY has a great staff and leadership team always a pleasure shopping there.

Outstanding purchase
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After researching several WiFi routers I purchased this today because of the many features to improve overall wireless network performance. I would not have made the purchase without all of the positive customer reviews. Using ISP provided speed tests, this WiFi router tripled my average download speeds. It also improved my overall network performance. It literally took 15 minutes to set up using the automatic setup features. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants dependable WiFi service. I also spent the $20 to get the Geek Squad service plan.

Good Wifi router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I previously had an outdated router. I purchased the linksys AC2200 because it was a great price. Since having it, I have noticed a tremendous difference in multiple devices running at the same time without interruption.

Amazing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I previously had a Dlink wireless router that wasn't strong enough to provide wifi through out my ranch style house. I would always get drops and a slow connection speed in the room furthest from the Router. Now my signal is strong through out my house and even in my backyard. No drops or lag. After I setup the router I upgraded my service to 200mps and I consistently get 180+ anywhere in my house. Best wireless router out there for the money.

Great Tri-band Router at affordable Cost
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is a good Tri-band router that has significant network coverage. The 5Ghz band is very fast and reliable. I connected my Arlo wifi Cameras, PS4, LG UHD TV and Laptop and they still have blazing network speeds. It took me time to write this review to make sure the router is consistent! It is a must buy at that price!

Super fast download and upload speeds.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After several days of extreme testing of the Linksys - Wireless-AC2200 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Router, it didn't disappoint in the performance department at all. My family, including myself, have a total of 14 devices connected at the same time while streaming either youtube, Xbox-1 gaming or watching movies. There were no lag or dropped signals. It handled the traffic perfectly, although it had some, very little, difficulties maintaining its signal strengths at greater distances. However,it's very comforting to know that you have a dependable router when multiple devices are connected and not worry about abrupt disconnections. I received a free sample from Linksys in exchange for my honest feedback and I am, and forever will be a fan of LINKSYS!!!!

Saved $-Easy Install-Great Support-Working Great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Linksys recommended this product while trouble-shooting a problem with my old router. Rather than order directly from Linksys (offered a $30 discount since I was replacing a Linksys product), I chose to visit my local Best Buy to discuss products and alternatives. I was able to get the recommended router from Best Buy for $40 less (saved $10 over Linksys offer). I also purchased a Linksys WiFi Extender and USB WiFi adapter from Best Buy. Linksys support has been great and everything is installed and working as expected.

Finally a wifi router that covers my whole house
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.(disclaimer: Linksys supplied a free sample in exchange for a review) I've finally found a router that covers my entire house in wifi signal. I've got a 2-story house with partially finished attic and basement, and have had to rely on two routers over the years, with one simply acting as a wireless bridge, in order to have usable wifi access throughout the house. But the EA8300 finally gets me good enough connections everywhere that I can consider dropping the second one. In dead spots where even my EA7500 would get me dial-up-like speeds, I'm now reliably getting 14/3 mbps down/up from the Google speed test. Not, y'know, something I'm going to want to torrent over, but it's more than usable for web browsing and youtube. And in the same room, I'm seeing sustained 30mbps downloads from my (wired connection) QNAP NAS, and 50-55mbps from the Google speed test...in this case, the limiting factor seems to be the disk transfer rates. The install process was fairly smooth (had a hiccup that I'm fairly sure was related to its predecessor not releasing its DHCP lease when I told it to). It really wants to have an internet connection, though...so if you're in the same boat as I was, just wait for the DHCP issue to resolve itself, it's not worth trying to proceed without it. Setting wifi up was easy, including setting up different SSIDs for the two 5ghz radios if you wanted. The fact that the speed test widget requires flash is sad, though...really hoping that gets resolved in a firmware upgrade. The only admin-y features I've really used were reserving an IP for a device, which was super easy to do (even from the phone app). And setting up port forwarding (to an openvpn service on my NAS) was equally a breeze. My only real complaint is that there's only 4 ethernet ports on this thing, and I've got 6-7 devices in my living room that could benefit from being able to use a wired connection. I get that I may be an unusual case, but I'm disappointed that something at this price point skimps on the ports.
