I was having trouble getting wifi in every corner of the house with my old router, but with the EA 8300, I have no problems whatsoever. It was an easy set up and took ten minutes. Highly recommend. I received a free sample from linksys for my honest feedback.

I received this product from Linksys in exchange for honest feedback; I waited a few weeks before posting this review, I wanted to make sure that it performed well over time. After a rocky setup, in the beginning I had to reset it to factory defaults and then run the setup a 2nd time. I loved the wireless bridge and wireless repeater mode, I had a repeater from my cable internet provider and I plan to return their wired repeater and use this in its place. It did perform extremely well after the 2nd setup. I love that it is rich with features and wish that it would be a little faster, I do appreciate the fact that my connection has been stable over the weeks and has not dropped even once, I would give it 6 stars for connectivity if I could and 4.5 stars for speed and definitely 5 stars for features including the dual 5ghz setting. Well done linksys, keep on improving and innovating.

Very nice router. Set it up with the app fairly easily. Works like a charm. Strong signal all the way to the front of the house. Linksys is a good solid brand as well. For the home user this is a very good product. Won't go wrong.

I previously returned a Netgear router because the parental controls didn't work. This Linksys is no different. The box promised parental controls. The admin interface has parental controls. But you can set up restricted access times for iPods, iPads, laptops, and streaming devices until you are blue in the face... and your children will still have unlimited access 24/7. Now I'm back to unplugging the router every night or collecting devices from kids. I'm tired of products promising features that flat out don't work. Thanks for NOTHING linksys.

Did my research before my purchase and this is the exact router that I wanted. Caught it on sale and could not pass on it. Set up was very simple and connecting could not be any easier. I had it up and running and connected in under 5 - 6 minutes.

This is a great router. We are running on a network with 80 to 90 Mbps download and the wifi is incredibly fast. Plus you can run 7 devices on it with no problem. For the price you will not find a better deal out there.

This router was one of the easiest to set up. With my old router I was having trouble connecting to wifi in some areas of my house, however with the EA-8300, my whole house was covered with strong wifi. Highly recommend.

Blazing fast WIFI! Enable the device to automatically switch to the strongest WIFI signal when moving inside the house. Easy setup and installation as well. Two thumbs up!!!

My Wi-Fi is working great now that I have up graded to this device and it works great. I have more than 5 devices going at once and there is no lag on any of the devices. This is way better than what I had before.

My Apple TV 4K is working great all thanks to this router... my older router was a AC1900 and my Apple TV 4K will only play the sound and the screen is just black and now we got 3 rooms streaming no problem.

This is a very Good router, interface on the computer and on the APP is Great! Purchased Asus AC1900 first, Good Router but had problems with VPN Pass through for Work VPN. Purchased Netgear AC2300 but did not like the user interface on computer or with the APP... cant do parental scheduling with out a 3rd party app or device (that i could find) and was hard to set up. Linksys worked the best for me. it has great scheduling in the App for parental control. over all App is much better out of the 3 in my opinion. Speed between all 3 was the same doing a speed test.

I received a free Linskys EA8300 Max-Stream AC2200 Tri-Band Wi-Fi Router from Linskys Friend + Family Program in exchange for testing, review and feedback. Very easily installed; simple instructions. Decided to use WiFi for some items that were hardwired to previous router. Did have some trouble obtaining strong signal in one section of my home because of the design of my home but after adjustments of the router antennas was able to achieve a suitable signal for fire stick and online gaming use. So far I am pleased. The mobile app is easy to use and being able to prioritize and assigning devices using the tri-band feature is a plus. I recommend this router for handling the demands of multiple WiFi devices being used simultaneously.

I am very happy with this router and the new (to me) advances. I now have the ability to see connected devices and have the promise of software staying up to date. This is a big deal for me as I am moving from custom router software. I also get good solid coverage where I didn't before. Good buy!

Purchased to replace dead linksys 12 year old router. Instant connection, 10 min. Back and running.

Connection and setup was easy. However my home is around 2500 square feet. It works good in most areas except the basement of my house so I had to purchase an extender which closed the dead spot which is the reason for 4 out of 5 stars. If you have a smaller home then this will work great

My provider offers 150Mbs. The router and WifI need not be the bottleneck so I upgraded to the latest technology. Consumer Reports rated this device very high. It is easy to setup and works great.
