Just removed an AC1600 that seemed to have better signal than this. This one was supposed to be so much better but really not impressed. If you have multiple 4k tvs and gamers... Don't bother.

AT&T supplies you with a combination modem/router . The problem with that is it gets over loading real easy and it don’t have good range so I kept losing internet. So I bought this one and it has better range And it’s not pulling double duty so I don’t lose internet. Great product would recommend to anyone

this is my 2nd linksys router and i would say that this is the best so far. Also, got a great deal at $99 last black frday!

Bought this router to fix incessant dropped wifi connections on my laptop and some other devices - wifi thermostats, etc. Wasn't sure if the issue was my old router, but apparently so since my wifi connection has been rock solid since. Really like the Linksys app that enables you to see and manage your network from your phone. One issue I ran into was in setting up the router, you can select discrete 2.4 and 5.0 gig signals, or a single combined signal that enables beam forming, I believe. After selecting the later, I found out my wifi thermostats require a 2.4 gig connection, but there was no way to select the 2.4 gig signal directly from the thermostat (Lyric T5 stat) as it connects through a smartphone. All our smartphones can use either signal and almost always connect on the 5 gig signal. Long story short, I found a workaround, but beware if you have a similar device that needs a 2.4 gig connection. Secondly, and I need to call support for this, I could not get my few Ethernet connected devices to connect through the Linksys router. It likely has something to do with the Linksys rounter sitting behind my cable modem/router, which I still need for cable phone service. Overall, however, very satisfied with the router so far.

This is a Christmas gift from me to someone else. It’s Dec 8 so I’ll ask them how they like it after that blessed day.

I have a small 600 square foot condo and it works great. Set up was very easy.

Increased my internet speed. Easy to use software. Like being able to see who is on my network.

This is a great router. It was so easy to set up. This replaced another router that crashed on me after a software upgrade. What I really like are the built in features and app you can have on your phone to lock out and monitor the users and also lock out users during certain time. The guest feature is really nice also.

The router was easy to set up and works great. We have a busy household with 3 teens, all with school laptops, etc.

Got this on Black Friday special for about $100 and it is well worth the money for what you get with this router.

Installed 2 months now. Installation was a breeze. I now have 200 Mbps download and 12Mbps upload service in 75% of my house and 100+ in the rest. Four streaming TVs, seven cell phones and a PS4 online gaming. No problems. I even get 48Mbps download at the neighbors house. Well worth the money!

It does everything it says it will. However the parental features are hit or miss. Also it would be great if DD-WRT could be installed.

A whole lot of difference that what I was using before! Now I can watch videos on my smart tv without buffering.

Easy to setup just followed guide and contacted my ISP to setup my modem on their end. All they need is the MAC Address and I was up and running in no time with no throttling issues. I now get the full bandwidth I pay for and modem is futureproof for the moment as my ISP hasn't adopted the 3.1 standard yet.

Great product for the money, this router replaced my better and I am enjoying it. I would recommend the product

Replaced the old one we had. Much better coverage than the previous with no loss of signal throughout the house.
