Went from a wireless "N" router to this wireless AC router. Stopped all stumbling/lag with the Roku unit plus the computer is three times faster on the internet. Excellent signal strength inside the house but like the last router it does not like to send a signal thru the basement block wall outside. Yes, new cars can update onboard software via wifi. Other than this small problem, great router! Very easy setup.

Needed a new router. Did some research, went with this one. Handles all the simultaneous abuse my family throws at it and doesnt miss a beat. It resides in the basement of a 3,000 fsf two story house and coverage is perfect.

Got this to replace a 4 year old router. It handles streaming and gaming on numerous devices at the same time very well. I was looking at cable companies for internet upgrade because we were getting so much lag but it turned out we just needed to upgrade our router. No problems with it so far.

Maybe to early to tell... just got it installed a few days ago so fingers crossed. My other killed over high use ... let’s see how long and we’ll this one holds up.

I love this router. It was easy to install and is perfect for all of my devices. The WiFi is so fast.

had this unit for a couple weeks now and its awesome no dropped connections and the triband is nice to split up things connected to my network the range on this is crazy mounted in a closet in middle of a brick home and can still connect to the 5ghz across the street in my neighbors backyard

This one lets you do a lot with the app on control. It allows full bypass of internet speed on wired and half on wireless, which is pretty standard for the wireless passthrough on all that I have tried. It keeps right up with the numerous items that I have connected to it.

works very well. this one is 21/2 times more data transfer than the previous dual band router I used. have a large family and 12 devices at once with no lag. GOOD

We were replacing an older technology router in our home. Linksys is a dependable brand! The Best Buy associate helped us compare the different models and recommended a variety options to choose from. Set-up was quick and easy. Stronger signal overall. Couldn't be happier with the results.

It is easy to install. It has a lot of cool settings. Long distance connection.

Out of the box, to passing data, this took less than 5 minutes. I'm still trying to figure out the remote management, though expect that will be just as easy.

Excellent router! Easy to set up and use. I can have WIFI in my WHOLE house! Phone company wasn't of much help which is why I chose to buy my own. They insisted on making a service call. Sorry! Did it myself!
