I wanted an upgraded router (and modem) other than the one provided by my cable company. I was having issues with buffering, and after consulting with several employees at Best Buy, we determined that this router would be the best fix for this issue. My thanks to the knowledgeable employees in helping me to fix this problem

This is a good fast router, it is reasonably priced.

This router works great on multi leveled homes. Signals good from every room in the house.

Replaced our Netgear with this = more reliable, less range.

This was a much needed upgrade to a faster router.

It works which is better than the one I replaced. Do not seem to have any issues. Yet. Lol

After extensive on-line research, I was happy that the knowledgeable customer assistant gave me even more insight into router products and basically confirmed that this Linksys router was the best choice to replace my old, dead Wi-Fi router. Glad I shopped Best Buy because they had the product, and a great sale price.

I am happy with it so far. I have not had any problems with my Wi-Fi since installing this router.

No issues here. Works like described. No lag, sometimes needs a reset, still ticking.

Before getting this router I had many problems with my wifi disconnecting or having weak signal. Since getting this router, I have had no problems. I also updated my usb wifi adapter to work with the newer protocols for this router and my transfer speeds are way better then before. BTW setup was also very easy.

Overall, great router. No issues. seems to be faster than my previous. no complaints

This Router replaced my old dual purpose modem-router which was no longer giving me good service. My Geek Squad helper suggested I get the free modem from my service provider and then get a separate router. He gave me a suggested price range, too. This Linksys router is working great. All my problems solved!!

This was my first linksys router, a replacement for my Netgear R6300v2 AC1750. So far I have owned the router for a week without any issues. The parental controls are very limited. You can only limited the time allowed on the internet at a device level. You are not able to filter on content. My old netgear enabled content filters for all devices, time limiting was more difficult on the netgear. Setting up the router to work with alexa was very easy. The only thing this allows, is for alexa to enable or disable guest wifi. The router has been very stable. My netgear was getting to the point where I had to reboot the router every few days. I think some of the problem was due to the amount of devices I have. I have around 30 devices connected to my router. I do like that there are lights on the network ports, this is something my netgear was lacking. Setting up the MAC filtering on the wifi was tedious through the web interface as there was no option to select devices that were already connected. I was able to easily produce a list from the reports and use copy and paste. I have later found there is an option to select an existing device through the phone app and add it to the list. Being able to easily connect to my router remotely has come in useful a few times. Overall this was very easy install and seems to perform well. I was having speed issues that I thought were due to my modem. This now seems to have been resolved with the new router. I have also noticed that ip addresses are assigned more quickly and the devices connect almost immediately.

Easy to set up and directions were clear. It was pricey compared to other products.

After connecting to the Linksys web site and creating an account you will find the setup process smooth and easy to follow, especially if you like to use just the default settings. The more complex settings are straight forward also. I am able to cover my house and yard area (aprox. 2000 ft.). The speed has been very good, no pauses at any devices (15 total). A little bulky of a footprint, but can be mounted.

Router works very well. It has excellent range and very few problems with connection.

Needed to get a better WiFi signal in my house approx 2000 sq ft with garage area. Read reviews and talked to friends. This thing is awesome, signal is better than it's ever been! And no interruptions with it's signal, even in the backyard. Should have gone this route long ago! Love this thing.
