Purchased it as an upgrade when I moved location of the router to the room which 99 % time I use the computer. Speed of downloads seem to be at least 3 times faster. Never have had a problem with it since I started using it.

Our router went out so we went down to Best Buy. What a great decision. The staff was so helpful and was able to show us the perfect product within our desired price range. The sales associate told us exactly how to set it up and use the different channels to make our streaming smooth.

Bought this item as an upgrade for our old system. Works much better and faster

This is a replacement for my old AC1200 as my old router did not give me wifi connection at the upstairs bedrooms. I was going to switch to a different brand, but this product was on big sale the week before Thanksgiving, so I gave it a try. It has been working great!

I havent owned a Linksys router since probably one of their originals. The router was as easy to setup as most. The config page gives similar features, but i like that i can pin things to the front page for quick access. The app works well. Not much such to say, it's a router. One big issue is that the guest access is not protected. This is highly strange, but Linksys has done this for a while for unknown reasons. I won't be using guest access because of this. One nice feature for parents is the ability to block https sites. Some routers don't have this feature. I bought this router to replace a 7 year old Netgear WNDR4500. Range was lacking on the far end of my house and I now have 20+ devices on the network, so I thought this would be an upgrade. I completed some internal speedtests with both routers and to my surprise, they were nearly identical in speed and range. That is interesting with 7 years of advancement in the Linksys. I am keeping the Linksys hoping that the signal distribution and media prioritization make up for basically no upgrade in speed or range.

This gets us a pretty good signal into our bedroom & in the basement.

upgrading to AC wifi from n is a big difference and it makes wifi work a lot better I like the new linksys seamless handoff and now I just need to get an accesspoint that supports the tech because its brand new

Purchased it during black Friday from 2017, got it for $100, still works, had no issue since! Also good for file sharing over local network, can be used as a personal small NAS (Network Attach Storage) with the use of USB 3.0 port or 1gb switch ports!

Had this a year now, works fantastic with all my devices. Excellent quality video streaming on my 4K tv with no freezes. I also have connected smart lighting, Ring video doorbell, phones & tablets. No problems on any. Would definitely buy again!
