Decent router, but was unable to provide signal across 4000 sq ft home without lag or constant disconnects. The router admin interface was superb, but the performance lag with multiple devices did not meet my needs in a 3 level home with a basement. I ended up purchasing the Orbi router which is twice expensive, but the performance results were like night and day. The Orbi not only exceeded my expectations, but supported multiple devices with just one ssid. With this router, I needed an extender to reach other areas which was not ideal.

Bought this router as it had good reviews and was on sale ($99) on Black Friday. Setup was very easy. I have set up two separate connections (2.4 and 5 GHz) and I try to use 5 GHz to stream 4K movies, Xbox one s, etc and 2.4 GHz for two iphones. Issues: (i) I am extremely disappointed with speed that I get on 2.4 GHz. I cannot even view instagram photos (need to switch to 5 GHz for that). (ii) cannot stream 4K videos on 5 GHz; extremely slow connection (this is for 1200 sq ft 2 bed apartment with two users). Not happy at all.

Replaced old one damaged in large lightening strike. Does not cover all of house well and nothing outdoors so can't use SpartTv on Lanai, or by a Ring doorbell. Has one less port then previous model same brand

I was having the typical streaming problems; intermittent freezes, pixels in various positions, etc. Since installing this my streaming experience has improved greatly though not 100% At least it is now tolerable. Extremely easy to install.

Love this product. It actual does what its suppose to do. I recommend this product to anyone who has a 4K TV and also does gaming. It really does the job for me.

This is GREAT router, packed with features and was very easy to set up. I had this router set up in about 15 minutes and all of my wireless devices (TV,PS4, PC'S, PRINTERS, CELL PHONES ETC) in about an hour. This router has a ton of features, and all of the features are very easy to set up and configure. This router has excellent Wifi coverage for our house. We live in a two story 1600SQ house and we used to have very spotty WiFi with our old trusty Linksys WRT54G2. There were many dead spots upstairs because our only cable connection is downstairs. The EA8300 provides a rock solid connection ANYWHERE in the house - no more dead spots! I can stream content from my downstairs PC to my PS4 upstairs with no problem, and with the EA8300 tri-band, there is no congestion. If I'm streaming HD content, downloading on my PC and browsing on a phone or tablet, there is no reduction in speeds! . I can wifi print from anywhere in the house, and I can also still have signal when I head outside to check the mail. I would definitely recommend this router to anyone looking to upgrade to a tri-band router with a lot of features.

I own an I.T. Business. I only recommend and use LInksys/Cisco routers. This is one of their better ones. I am very pleased with this purchase

Wanted to upgrade my 15 yo router for speed and coverage in the house. Haven't noticed any difference. No better reception in far corners of the house and boys have not noticed any difference in gaming. Almost $100 and no difference.

Since Windows 10 update, I have to use an ether net cable for my work laptop to stay connected to wifi with this router. Every other device connects and works well. Other than that, it is great. I hope this can be resolved eventually.

Wireless range is far superior to my last router, we now receive WiFi in the garage at the back of our 1 acre property through a log home

Set this router up in minutes. It is capable of giving high bandwidth despite streaming services and IoT devices constantly on throughout the home.

My son insists this is a good router, I'm not 100% sold? I don't have a huge house yet in the farthest points from this router I'm not getting the coverage I would expect to get from such an expensive model!

So far, I've had 100% solid connectivity and my network has been flying. I had a Netgear die on me and I'm VERY happy I grabbed this one!

I recently gave back the combo tower I had from Xfinity and set up with my own modem and router to save money and get better streaming.No regrets!
