Great Router

It was an existing home without network cabling, and I didn't feel like wiring another house! I wanted to stay away from mesh wireless devices or repeaters. With this router, I have a solid 3-4 bars on 2.4 GHz throughout our house 2700sqft with a basement. The 5Ghz is naturally more limited but is easily accessible from immediately adjacent rooms. The router itself was easy to set up and get going. I would recommend to anyone.

It was really easy to setup, and had no problems on the installation. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants a fast connection for multiple devices at the same time!

A product that was rushed to market
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The set up was very simple..,my biggest issue was the wireless performance is less than desired..2000 sq.ft house and coverage is lacking should not need a range extender for this caliber router..Keeps dropping connections..tried to upgrade the firmware..that was a failure..files available from Lynksys was corrupted..not worth the money..product was rushed to market..my previous Asus that died did not give this much problems out of the box...If there are no firmware upgrades to remedy this issue I am returning it

Great Router Upgrade

Multiple people with devices using internet connection at the same time and the signal coverage is a lot better.

It did cover a large area of my house and for the most part ran really well. The only thing I didn't like was that once in a while it would drop signal. It was like it couldn't tell what band I should be on and would have a 2 second brain cramp. It wouldn't happen often but still. For most people I think it would be fine but in the end I took it back and replaced it with a Velop mesh unit. More money but worth it so far.

WOW, this thing is fast!

Even ones that were $500 and up. I'm telling you, this one performed better. Had a faster connection, longer distance, and better programming. I even use their extender in a really far room to hardwire a gaming pc. It makes the speed exactly what it is at the router itself. Top notch performance from this thing!

Hooks up fast - nice web based user interface, gives a lot of control to the administrator. Noticing the efficiency of the band steering and beamforming with a few of my compatible devices. Love the amount of ports offered. A definite work horse and I am confident I won't have need to replace this router for many years to come.

So here goes My linksys system was a excellent choice for my home. Especially with my gamers at home. It not only hold for those gamers but for my movie watching Netflix bing watching and my roku. Excellent system. Easy to install. Great product. I would recommend
