It states to put half way between good spot, and bad spot, but someone else suggested to but it in bad area...will try that and hopefully it will work.

Not so great Wireless extender

Only single band extender

When I got home with it I discovered it was not going to be compatible with my modem. I ended up getting a more expensive Netgear extender.
