Easy to set up and doesn't lose its connection

As long as your PC has an CD drive you can get away with this. Newer laptops that don't come with an optical drive may require downloading the proper drivers online with a different computer and installing via USB, if your laptop's lack of connectivity is the reason for the purchase. The small profile is a nice feature. I use this on a gaming pc that is uses to mine cryptocurrency.

Excellent alternative to internal wifi cards

Fits any USB port that I have used it with. Picks up wifi over a nice distance inside the house with minimal drops, which may not always be the fault of this device.
