    Bought this to help our tired, 8yr old, Toshiba laptop wi-fi. The best the onboard card could put out was around 40-50mbps on an Xfinity 300mbps wi-fi. Using this Linksys dual band adaptor, I consistently get 220-245mpbs. Worth every penny.
