The best the onboard card could put out was around 40-50mbps on an Xfinity 300mbps wi-fi. Using this Linksys dual band adaptor, I consistently get 220-245mpbs. Worth every penny.

Solves my wifi issues...

At first I was hesitant to make this purchase thinking it wouldn't solve my problem, but I sure was wrong. Just plug this in and my internet connection is better than ever.

The person I saw first had the driver re-installed to no avail... other option would have been to send out for repair nd wait a few weeks. This was a perfect solution that was reasonably priced!
