This was not very expensive but has served th purpose. I liked that it has a light that is orange when start up laptop and turns white once connected to 5G. The only negative is that it sticks out farther than the more expensive ones and makes it vulnerable to breakage.

He is using it in a bedroom that is one floor above the room where the wireless router is located and he's never had a problem connecting and has never lost the connection.
