But when I called support they actually walked me through how to load it manually step by step. It did take 15 minutes to load but it works fine now. I bought this because I relocated my desktop and it was getting low wi-fi reception

It has also cut out 2 times since getting it. But once I got it to start working, it has worked 98% of the time.

As soon as I found out ran to BestBuy and purchased 10 of these adapters. Connected them to our desktop PCs and used our mobile phones as hotspots. This saved us from missing some serious deadlines on projects. Great backup solution to having cabled internet.

Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. So I bought this Linksys dual bind Wi-Fi connector and now use it exclusively on my laptop. I always get a signal and have no problems connecting anymore. It's a good product and well worth the cost.

The picture is deceptive. Mine is about 3" long and 1" wide. It's so wide that it blocks the adjacent USB slot on my laptop. With only 4 slots total I don't like being limited to 3 useful slots.
