Where he wanted to move it did not have a LAN connection and his PC doesnt have WiFi. Once I had the PC set up and added his SSID settings it was up and running.

On my network, I am able to reach download speeds of over 100 megabits/sec and upload speeds of 9 megabits/sec. Unbelievable over a wireless connection. I have been very pleased with the adapter and highly recommend with a fast internet connection.

While I can get up to 80-90% with other wifi solutions

But my internet is much slower than this thing's maximum anyway.

I raced out and picked this USB WIFI adapter by Liksys. Works great. Saved the day. Been using it daily ever since. I recommend it.

I then purchased another model but I did not like how far it protruded out the side of the computer so I went back to this model. Works as soon as you plug in. Hopefully this one will last longer, then I may give it a 5 star rating.
