My computer rejected the plug and play installation and had a disc tray error. Luckily this product allowed for a digital driver download as an alternate method. A simple file transfer and i was online with no issues. It was able to handle my high speed streaming with no problems.

I was having intermittent problems with 2.4GHz wireless on my 6 year old Dell laptop. After purchasing this and getting much faster 5GHz, going to put off buying a new laptop for a while longer. Very pleased.

We are super satisfied with our purchase. We home school our daughter and the computer provided by the program is not wifi adaptable. Only complaint, and I'm not sure if it's device or the desktop, is that every time we turn the desktop on we have to unplug and re plug the device. Other than that it works great.

Purchased for my baby laptop that wouldn't pick up wifi after installing Windows 10. This linksys works well, plugged it into the computer and now I can go anywhere in the house and have great wireless reception. Would have been nice to be a little smaller but that's just my opinion.

We have an older computer (no WiFi) that we wanted to move but had no Ethernet connection to hook it to. Went in to Best Buy and they suggested this little piece of equipment and it works fantastically well!!!!! It is running faster than when it was connected to the Ethernet!!!!!

Difficult installing....would not recognize or load driver automatically as explained install instructions. Had to go to Linksys website to download driver and completed install. Also, dongle is larger than ideal for laptop use.

I bought this to remedy a buggy Wi-Fi adapter solution (Intel AC 9560) that mysteriously stops working periodically. This backup has never let me down.

I can see why people purchase this & the reviews aren’t all mostly positive, however my experience wasn’t that. As I just built a new pc, I’m too far away from the router & figured I could use this as an adaptor. While the directions say “plug in & it should download/connect”, it wasn’t that at all. Since I do not have a cd drive, I can’t input the cd to help with installation nor am I going to buy one for this sole purpose. I went onto the Linksys website for help & it basically said that the problem was one of two things — The device is disabled on Operating System and/or it’s plugged in but the drivers are not installed. This product is said to work with Windows 10 (which is what I have), yet it’s not reading the device or something? I’ve been trying for the past hour 1/2 to resolve this issue with no luck. I’ve been reading reviews to see if anyone else had encountered this problem & from what I’ve seen, nobody has written about it before. I’m just going to return it at this point.

Works well with computer that doesn’t have wireless. Although you need to download the software using a cd and some newer computers don’t have this. Had to go online and download software but is working well!

Replacing Linksys AC6300 with these devices across all of our networks. Works well on all of our Windows boxes including XP, 7 and 10. There was only 1 problem with one Windows 10 machine where the device stopped working after an update. Reinstalled the drivers and have had no further problems.

Replaced my Netgear A6100 with this one. The other one fell apart (plastic broke) I assume after transporting it many times. This is slightly longer, so much higher chance of bumping it on the side of the laptop. Note the USB 3.0 requirement for full throughput.

My laptop suddenly dropped all wireless capability and this little USB adapter easily solved the problem. My laptop is older and I'm trying to avoid replacement as long as possible. This network adapter has definitely extended the useful life of what I have.

My mother in law was paying $70 a month for cable internet she barely used for her computer. I bought this for half that price. Plugged it in an older windows 7 PC, set a password on her phone hotspot and bam. Instant WiFi and no more monthly fee. Such a great invention.

Great value, and works perfectly well. So far no connectivity issues. I did though have to set up the driver through a CD, which I did not particularly like. Still is a great deal for the price

I needed a Linksys USB to get my WIFI to work..even though I had it withOUT this devise, for 7 years or more...but it worked in that it indicated i was online...but in reality I couldn't get online...I had to have the geek squad fix the situation

If you have a pc that doesn’t have WiFi this product is great I used it for a pc that I built not long ago and I moved it to another room where I don’t have a hard wire connection. Great download and upload speeds which depends on your ISP.

This is a great alternative to the built in wireless adapter. Great for older laptops where the internal wireless adapters fail to work with windows 10, because of the lack of availability of new updated manufacture drivers for internal adapters.

My old adapter had trouble connecting on start up. This one solved that problem immediately. I did have to use the CD to get it set up, but that was quick and simple as well. Fast and good product.

I bought this to speed up wireless connection on an old laptop that did not have the most up-to-date technology and it worked great. I can recommend this to anyone that needs to update their wireless speed on an older machine.

It works normally, but sometimes it will disconnect for no reason. I have the lastest driver for this thing, but it will still randomly disconnect from my internet for no reason which stops what im doing on my computer, and usually forces me to reconnect. Happens fairly often too, sometimes 2 or 3 times a day.
