At first, it would reconnect in a short amount of time so I didn't even know it was happening, but it started dropping and not reconnecting last week. Looked for driver/Windows updates but none to be found, and issue is all over the Web. I should have done some research before buying, but it's such a simple device I didn't really expect anything to go wrong. Lesson learned, won't buy Linksys again.

The Linksys WUSB6100M should a stable connection after it is connected to the WiFi network. You may try to reinstall the driver and make sure that the WiFi of the router is stable. Could be the the computer, not sure. Speed is good although I'm only going from the room next door. Its an upgrade from my previous usb network adapter so I put up with the connection issues.

There's a possibility that the connection issues with the adapter could be caused by some interference in your area like thick walls or ceilings. We can try adjusting the wireless channel on your router and we'll check if it helps improve the unit's wireless performance.
