the range is awesome, no complaints other than its very difficult to program, i had to call Linksys and it took them over a hour to program but once they were finished, no problems so far and i'm beyond happy with the extra range!!!!

Used as a wired extender into a completely different building. basically plug and play. Installed at the end of a 250' cat 5e in my shop. Behind a new ea9500 bought directly from linksys installed in my house. I cannot connect to the main router from the shop. but i can connect to the extender from the house! imagine that!!!!

Used this to replace a Netgear extender that had failed. Plugged it in and the setup was intuitive and easy. It has been up and running for several weeks now without any problems. My family does not even know that it is there and does not have to do anything different - which means that it is working exactly as it should!

Bought this to improve WiFi to the far end of our house and improve streaming quality. Main router is in the basement and I put this extender on the second floor. It works as advertised. WiFi signal at the ends of the house are greatly improved! Instructions are easy to follow and I had it up and running in no time.

This range extender is a great device that works wonders in my 3 story house. I will add that for those that have issues setting it up initially that I found going through the website they mention in the instructions to be the easier way to set it up.

I bought the Lindsey's Re9000 range extender because I needed my outside cameras to work faster and clearer. ALL MY OUTSIDE CAMERA'S ARE WORKING FASTER AND BETTER AND ALL MY OTHER DEVICES THAT REQUIRE INTERNET ARE WORKING BETTER.

I HAVE A TRI-LEVEL HOUSE APPROXIATELY 2500. TOO MUCH HOUSE FOR THE EXTENDER. HAD IT ON THE BOTTOM FLOOR AND HAD PROBLEM WITH THE TOP FLOOR STREAMING VIDEO. I GUESS, TOO MANY WALLS AND CEILING. I BROUGHT IT JUST TO TRY BECAUSE IT SAID IT COULD COVER 4000 SQUARE FEET.

This range extender works great. It was easy to set up and simple to administer when I want to make changes. It replaced a Netgear WAC124. The Linksys is WAY better. Setup and administering the Linksys is much more straight forward. The Linksys is stable, dependable.

When I first put this into service I thought it was doing ok. We have a split level home and the lower level has issues with connectivity. So I added this to my network and it did well. But I thought it could do better.
Recently, I upgraded to a mesh network and stopped using this product. I found out the mesh network has more issues and really came to appreciate this extender as it did a better job.
I did have to reconnect this about every 2 months or after a power outage. That means you have to put it near your router and plug it in. My Ring devices then would have trouble finding it so I had to reconnect them as well.

Excellent to pair with a Ring cam. We had issues with our primary router signal reaching our Ring cam. This extender has worked so well and the signal to the camera always remains strong

Product works good. Only issue I had with Linksys extender. I would only stay connected 1 day with wifi. Happpen to me 3 times. Devices still stay connected to Linksys but no internet.

This range extender is fast and would probably be amazing for anything other than gaming.
Went through all a host of settings but could not get it to stop switching ports, which caused some games to freeze or even crash.

I installed this Range Extender along with the Linksys AC2200 Router.
Set-Up for both was a Breeze.
Pairing the Extender with the Router couldn't have been easier.
Forget about all the horror stories you hear about other systems, this one really works

Does exactly what it claims and extends are fast internet throughout our 2500 square ft house. Ex/ender is on the Main floor which catches signal from router upstairs and extends all through main floor and basement with ease. Worth every penny.

When this is fully operational it works great, but if it loses connection with your main router sometimes it will take awhile to reconnect. Overall great product, would say it is problematic 5% of the time.

Definitely easy to setup and I was very impressed with how well this works to both extend your wifi range, and to also provide a plug-in for a CAT 5 cable for any device that needs ethernet but does not have wifi. Great product!

Hi Uniwiz,
If the settings of the RE9000 Extender had already been saved on your wireless devices, then they should automatically switch to it every time they are within its range without having to log back in from time to time. If this challenge continues, reach out to us at [email protected] so we can have one of our Escalation Engineers look closely into it. For easy reference, include your contact details and the link to this review.
