Very easy to set up. It has good Wi-Fi coverage. Build quality seem good. The back haul works good and no dropping from the nodes. The Wi-Fi speed is really good. Handles a lot of devices with no problems. Parental controls are easy to set up. Good design for looks and for the size. Only complaint is sometimes it will need to be rebooted. The last update seemed to fix the issue for the most part, time will tell. I would recommend this product. It replaced a more expensive router that was only released for a couple of months and was suppose to be better and faster.

Tricks to making Linksys Velop work with our Sonos

We are now very happy with this threesome! At first we had some issues setting it up as our Sonos would not play in all rooms which was attributed to the underlying principles, l believe of mesh, different speakers were connecting to different Velop units. Finally, I read in Reddit, to try plugging one of the Sonos speakers directly into one of the Velops with an ethernet cable, and sure enough, that did the trick and we are now Happy Campers!

I purchased this router last winter. My wife and I both work from home and are in video meetings most of the day along with kids streaming on the TV, cell phones, and tablets all at the same time. We have not had any connection issues, even in the basement (where my office is located) where I did not put a Node but still have 140 Mbps speeds.

I bought this system June 2. Install and set up was very simple and straight forward. Everything worked well for about a month then the unit started randomly going offline even though connectivity was still working at the ATT modem. Trying to resolve with Linksys support.

The wifi coverage this product offers is great. I have three kids at home. Before replacing my router, it was challenging when my kids were using Zoom at the same time for school. Now, they stopped complaining of loosing reception or not hearing clearly what their teacher is saying.

Replaced four routers with this system. I like that it is one network. It can be tricky if you want to add on additional nodes with a compatible, yet different velop system. Make sure you add and sync the larger ones first, then you can add on smaller nodes one at a time. If you swap nodes around after installing you should start over with the the big ones first and then add on the smaller ones. I didn't at first and had lots of issues with nodes going offline. Once I did the big ones and then small ones the issue was resolved.

solid product. The Linksys is a close second to the Netgear Orbi's but both are solid. I'd buy whichever one is in stock.

I purchased this to help my AT&T system. I had connection issues in the corners of the house, even with the AT&T extenders. I looked around and settled on this system becausae of the homekit compatibility. I do not really see the integration, other than a few times during setup when apple alerted me that the nodes lost connectivity. The system cuased issues at first, but i had to disconnect my AT&T extenders and turn off the wi-fi from the AT&T gateway. After reconnecting a few devices that didn’t automatically switch over, I know have full coverage and my speeds are better than they have ever been. I defintely recommend this product, but I don’t see much of a difference between this and some of the other Linksys systems that are equally powered, but lower priced becuase of the lack of homekit integration.

Got this to upgrade my older velop system. Instantly I had constantly faster speeds and less issues with the system. I have 30+ devices including wireless cameras and 3 kids streaming across 3 stories and almost 7000sq feet. This has met my expectations thus far and we we will see if it lasts. Caught it on sale and so far very happy.

I have had several Linksys routers and nodes over the years, but nothing has covered our 3,000 square foot house like this 3 pack and delivered the most out of our 1GB internet. My summary says it all, the nodes are large but if you have the room for them they will be well in charge of your wifi. We have routinely 50 devices on our network between security cameras, appliances, lights, streaming TVs, computers and phones and this mesh has worked flawlessly with all of them. We have yet to have a node go offline, which routinely happened with our previous smaller nodes and best of all its pretty much doubled the speed or more running speed tests throughout the house. My wife does not know much about networks and has been working from home with a node hardwired to her PC. The day we got these set up she was so excited and amazed at how much faster her VPN was for work. Bottom line, between the easy setup with the Linksys app, the flawless coverage and abundant speed to our devices I can't find a negative thing to say about this mesh system. They are well worth the price because you won't find a better solution for internet coverage with speed in your house for years to come.

With all the new WiFi 6 devices coming out, decided to take this opportunity to upgrade my wireless network. These routers are great! Handles traffic really well, and I've got a huge speed bump on my WiFi 6 capable devices now. Well worth the price and upgrade, especially if you plan on upgrading your tech to devices with better wifi.
