we have a large older house and I tried everything for years to get full coverage of the house because I is near impossible to wire. I bought the velop and was going to return if it didn't work. It worked perfect and I definitely recommend it.

Amazing Wifi replacement for an aging Netgear Orbi AC3000 that I had to replace. It took some time to setup since I had replaced my modem and wasn't activated by the ISP it just took a little more time to setup.

Easy to use and setup, great bandwidth regardless of where you are in the house. I have the 1st gen Velop system as well which I used 2 of the old nodes to expand even further to this system. Call in support for the 1 issue I had was great and fast to respond as well. the backhaul bandwidth was a big step up from the 1st gen system which was the reason I bought this now vs waiting. No I do not have a wifi 6 device yet so it wasn't needed outside the backhaul bandwidth between nodes made a big different with the kids in the house all day for school and my work from home situation which created a huge data need all day long. The big plus was the extra ethernet connections on each node now which allow more wired connections to free up the wifi when its needed.

This wireless mesh system is a game changer. It makes sure that we don't have any buffering issues with our streaming. These are easy to set up and have an app thats easy to use.

Simple installation. Download the app and register. Unbox units, connect first one to your modem via a patch cable. Launch the app and it finds the device. Connect to your Wi-Fi. Repeat on the next two minus the patch cable, name them etc. Installed in a 4000 plus square foot home and what a huge difference. Previously we had to connect our 4K TV via Ethernet as it kept buffering on the Wi-Fi several times an evening. Since installing the Velop Mesh system about 4 weeks ago, no one bufferring on Wi-Fi! No more Ethernet cable to the TV. Only negative comment is the units are fairly large (4" X 4" X 9 1/2") compared to the eero Pro units I installed for my brother. On the plus side if you need Ethernet capabilities each unit has 4 ports.

With so many devices needing to connect to WiFi I was looking to upgrade my router or add another extender. After research, I decided to go with this. It has helped. Easy to set up and use. I recommend this product.

Starting with just one Velop node and there is a definite better signal across the 1st floor of the house, but may need a second for my ground floor home office. But that the point of buying into the mesh router idea. I am a little disappointed with the security functions of the control app. All said a pretty good purchase

Configuration was easy. These worked great at first, but then started experiencing random DNS issues, slowness, and restarts. Sadly, this was just after the return window closed. I was able to replace them with a less expensive and more reliable TP-Link system which also indicates that the problem was not upstream at the modem or internet provider. I had used a previous generation of Velop with no complaints. This is a step in the wrong direction for the product line.

      Hi, jaa928,

The Linksys Velop MX12600 Mesh WiFi 6 System should deliver reliable connection and gigabit WiFi speeds. We could have tried to update the firmware to optimize the nodes and changed the Ethernet cable between the parent node and modem for isolation.

However, if you need assistance with other Linksys devices, you can reach out to us at LinksysCares@linksys.com with the link to this review for our reference.

We have a large house, over 4,600sqft under roof, plus the superstructure is all steel. While it helps make our home hurricane resistant, it plays havoc with RF and Wi-Fi. Our internet service provider was unable to provide us with a reliable signal throughout the house, leaving us with both weak and sporadic service, even with their signal boosters. Best Buy and the Geek Squad came to our rescue with the Linksys Velop AX4200 Wifi 6 System-3 pack, including installation and setup. Now we can stream movies and TV shows in the bedroom, stream music in our media room, run our computers, and still have sufficient range and bandwidth for our security cameras. Finally, all is right with the world...

It was super easy to set up the Velop mesh WiFi. The coverage is amazing and we're getting great speeds. One tip is to disable the WiFi network built into the router your internet provider installs.
