Great Mesh network
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mesh wifi setup is great. Not only did it solve the issue of weak or no signal throughout the house, it also maintains a steady and high network speed on the wifi as well. The Android app works very well, and is easy to use. It is really nice that any node could be the router, and that each node has 3 available network ports. I have seen some people complain about not having a 4th network port, but small network switches are cheap nowadays.

Best so far.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best mesh wifi I've used so far. However, I don't think you'll ever get the touted square footage coverage advertised, unless you have no walls in your home. 30 to 40feet is the maximum straight line distance between nodes. Working on 2.4 ghz only. 5ghz will be much closer. My home is roughly 2500 square feet. My phone does connect much further away than any previous wifi system to include netgear, orbi, and nighthawk. The app is useful and user friendly.

Beware of rude tech support reps
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really great product. I have not had any issues setting up my home WiFi network. Lynksis technical support could be a lot better (and less rude) but the product itself works excellently.

Wifi 6 Mesh System
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My previous wi fi was a second generation that was a little obsolete for today standars. After many weeks to months looking for a right wifi and reading and learning about the new systems I came very close to a mesh type of wi fi then still wifi 5 or 6 and also price, at the end my selection is perfect and resolved the selection of Linksys-Velco AX4200 wifi 6 mesh system.

They do the job and are easy to set
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not as much distance as I hoped but I live in a cement house. Good wifi is a hard find but these devices do the job and manage to handle my 1Gb/s speed with a consistent 700mb/s+ on wifi.

Mine Has Problems Linksys Couldn't Fix
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these to replace an older AC router expecting great things from "whole house mesh wifi". Early on these worked very well and were reliable. After having them about six months the problems started. Mysterious connection drops on both ethernet and wifi began to occur. At first I thought it was our cable modem and I contacted both my ISP and Linksys support. My ISP ran line tests and assured me my connection was fine and my modem was fine, which I confirmed by plugging it directly into a desktop computer for a few days with zero connection or drop issues. Linksys support had me install an unlisted firmware update that seemed to fix the issue at the time, but it required me to jump through a TON of hoops. This was fraught with problems, because the nodes would not auto update and I had to unplug and direct connect each node to my computer to perform a manual firmware update of each one. Then I had to completely re-set up the nodes around the house. After all that rigmarole it once again seemed to work ok for a few more months, then the problems returned the same as before but with increasing frequency. The problem is this: The linksys routers lose internet connection over both ethernet and wifi. Sometimes the lights go red, sometimes they don't. Sometimes the management software says the internet is not connected, sometimes it says it is. The only thing that seems to temporarily "fix" this problem is to manually restart the routers through the management page. So once again I contacted Linksys customer support trying to get a fix to this problem. This time they ran me in circles requesting I perform repetitive test after test on the nodes with no actual fix, at which point I gave up trying to get help from them. I've done everything I can to remedy this issue and there is seemingly no fix. I've tried changing which node is connected to the modem, I've tried hard ethernet wiring each node to each other, and I've tried running just one single node... the connection drops always return. Either something is defective specifically with these three nodes that I have or something is defective with their design. Since I'm months outside of the return window I'm more or less stuck with them. They keep dropping connection constantly to this day (almost daily at this point), so I've decided to replace them with a different mesh wifi system made by someone else. For something that promises an easy hands off whole house wifi network these have been an absolute waste of time and money.
