I bought this as a replacement for the TMobile SyncUp Drive. It offers the same features beside the in-car WiFi (which you probably won't need) for the same price you'd pay elsewhere for 5 years of serve compared to what you'd pay for 1 with a carrier

I like the Automatic pro very well. When using with IFTTT.com I can set geofences and turn and off the lights by just pulling up to the house or leaving it. It really helps with my smarthome.

Ever notice why this item is never in stock? There must be something wrong with production. I decided to upgrade from the 2nd gen. Not sure why but did it anyway. The main takeaway I have with this unit is the loss of features. There is nothing added to the experience rather taken away. I used my automatic with dash command and OBD fusion, now this unit doesn't work with those apps or any other that give live data. The 3G network doesn't work in my neighborhood so my trips home end with unable to connect to unit. This thing is a step backwards. Save a few bucks and buy the old one.

With the Automatic Pro, I know the moment the car start, the road is using, and the moment and place the car is parked. The map of the route taken and the amount of gas used in the trip. I love all this very important information.

I haven’t gotten any error codes on my car. So I mainly use it to check my driving performance. And check how much I spend on gas.

Very nice item. Allows to know where my vehicle and family is at all time, monitor my vehicle for gas mileage and any maintenance issue that may arise.

It’s as good as it says it is. I can keep tabs on my kids activities in the vehicle. Plus it will alert me if there is a crash or airbags being deployed.
