Got this Lively Jitterbug Smart3 Smartphone for my wife, she loves the large screen and ease of use.

Got this phone for my mother. It is much easier for her to use than her other regular Cell phone and she is having fun using Google Assistant as she has trouble with her eye sight. The representative from Lively was also pleasant and didn't try to sell the highest priced MB, asked what my mother would use it for.

I recently set my husband up with one, his first smart phone. I found it so easy to use and liked it so much I went back to Best Buy and got myself one. We had a bit more problem setting it up as my husband uses no aps and I have many of all kinds. The problems were worked through by excellent staff and I am happily using my Jitterbug Smart 3. I love that I have the pink cover for protection and my husband has black so we can see at a glance whose is whose.

love the phone but i still think its smart than me on some day like to learn how to do a cover pic for phone but ill get there yet

Everything seems to be okay so far. I've never had a cell phone like this one but what I've seen is great.

Nice phone. A bit slow, especially when starting up. Designed to be simple, but it took my relative months to figure out how to work it (he does use it now). Can't assume that everyone will find this easy.

I HAVE SET IT UP BUT HAVE NOT TRIED ALL FEATURE. IT IS FOR MY HUSBAND, WHO HAS LOW VISION. ILIKE THAT THE SCREEN HAS LARGE LETTERS, WHICH I HOPE MAKES IT EASIER FOR HIM TO READ.

great phone and easy to set up. the menu is big and bold if you have bad vision excellent battery life

User: 87 years old, technically very competent Usability: hard to unlock phone and answer a call. "Lively" user interface is simple but requires extra taps and left him asking "how do I do...." which was answered with "Lively disabled those features" or "their stock version of the app keeps getting set back to default." Updates will undo some customizations! Buy a dumb flip phone if your loved one just needs to make calls to loved ones... or all the calls they make will be asking you for help! Price: perfect as a disposable phone, which may help seniors who aren't dexterous or can't keep up with a device. It also shows in the overall quality and reliability. Camera: blurry pics, can't scan codes easily. Basically it's worse than digital cameras from 1999. Compatibility: not great. Hearing aids never worked with it despite being Android 10. Features in some apps won't ever work. It's completely hit-or-miss and you can't' rely on the Android version to determine compatibility. Call quality: it's a cheap speaker cranked up to max. When he was on a call, I could hear the other person while I was sitting upstairs on the other side of the house, yet he often said "what? It's distorted, say that again." Granted he has hearing aids, but he seldom has this problem on land lines or when chatting on someone else's smartphone. Final result: Replaced with a proper smartphone, Samsung S20FE. I configured the home screen with the apps he needs, locked it down, and now he can easily unlock the phone, make voice and video calls, and his hearing aids connected right up! Avoid this. I struggle to understand how this is even on the market. Whenever this phone rang he muttered a 4-letter work because he knew the struggle of just getting to the call and trying to hear the best he could.

the sales dept was great-but-the phone was disappointing it froze( my fault ) up during set-up and on its return to Best Buy the salesman had to unfreeze it if it froze up that easily the elderly person who was to receive it would do worse playing with it i bought a flip to help alleviate confusing for the man but it turned out to be just as bad I am disappointed in the Jitterbug. this does not take in to account the 25 min wait for lively to put a person on the phone or the 2 hangups that occurred

5days to set up store clerk on help. Had to make and talk to three people to set up. And still not done.

I bought this for my wife, who has a condition that affects her fingers and hands. She can't handle a regular smartphone. It is much easier for her with this Lively Jitterbug because of the menu style. I would also recommend this phone for someone who has problems with their eyesight.
