I like it. App could use some improvement as it's sort of confusing finding things however the finger print reader opening is game changer. Had a non smart keypad deadbolt and it's a worth while upgrade.

The best lock ever invented, no more making copy of keys. The kids alway got key aka fringerprints.

I purchased this for our second home. I already have the Yale/Nest smart lock that I am happy with. This is so much better. Very well built and so easy to install and setup. The app is great and simple to use. I highly recommend this product!

I love this lock I can program a number of fingerprints. I can send one time access codes or long term codes if you send a code you can delete it I have no problems with the app works well with my android.

Love the fingerprint entry option. You can make the numbers randomize after each press.

The lock is very sturdy and looks great in the Matt Black. My only issue are the notifications, they are extremely delayed, 30 mins to an hour , which is not good at all. I would recommend the lock to someone who doesn’t care about the notifications. The notifications are very important if you have kids.

Wasn’t bad to install, but never have got the fingerprint unlock to work correctly. Also, it seems to lock itself somehow when opening/closing the door. Had a party recently and ended up taking the batteries out to keep people from getting locked out. Once I took the batteries out, now the WiFi unlock doesn’t work so I must need to reset it. Has potential to be great, but has some quirks I need to figure out.

I have a number of these for my air BnB. It’s hands now a must if you have short term rentals. I love these. AND I can unlock the door from anywhere if a contractor needs access etc without having to program them a code. The only downfall is that the app gets finicky at times

I really wanted this lock because of the great reviews and tech recommendations. My only issue which may be unique to my situation is the lock would replace the handle portion and the deadbolt portion. It was about 1/2 to 3/4 too small and left a gapping hole. I needed a separate deadbolt and separate handle for my doors.

overkill for my needs, but meets expectations. It is a shame that this is not better advertised to pair with other Lockly devices. This is a 5 pin and the other lock I have is 6 pin. They don't tell you that you will need a locksmith to adjust to an existing key or that your existing key may not work because it is a different manufacturer

I've had experience with a handful of different "keypad" style locks since they first popped up on the market, but this is the nicest and most advanced I've come across. Installation was just slightly more advanced than installing a typical lock. However, buyer beware that this lockset does require more door real estate. This would likely not be a wise choice for a door with a deadbolt, as there wouldn't be enough room for the deadbolt. On the topic of size, this unit does have slightly more depth than the handle it replaced; my storm door just touches the lever when it is closed. After installing the lockset, setup within the app was straightforward and easy enough to complete. Fully configured, the lock can be opened numerous different ways: physical key, digital passcode, fingerprint, or via smartphone through the app. The main selling point and what helps set this lock apart from the rest on the market, is the fact that the numbers are always in a random order on the keypad, making it nearly impossible for someone to see and steal your code. I was impressed by the speed of the fingerprint reader and ease of use as well. Additionally, there is a set of pins on the bottom of the exterior escutcheon plate that will register against a 9-volt battery in the event the batteries die, showing that Lockly was well aware of a very possible situation of being locked out. The pins automatically detect the polarity of the battery and adjust accordingly. A few minor annoyances: -It would be nice if there was a way to schedule some of the features of the lock. For instance, turning off open/close notifications during certain hours OR turning them on for specific hours (think, accessed during the night while you are asleep) -Fingerprint reader is only compatible with certain print types. My wife and I were able to register our fingers without issue, but numerous tries with my 6-year-old proved to be a waste of time -While installing the interior backing plate, one of the three screws would not go in and eventually got stripped. Fortunately, Lockly provides a bag of extra screws. The backup screw went in about 90% of the way before that screw head, too, started to cam out. -No Apple Homekit support Overall, this is a very nice keypad lock that has done quite a bit to try to differentiate it from the competition. Many of my grievances can and will hopefully soon be addressed by future software/firmware updates.

Works as described. Make sure home wifi has 2GHz frequency.
