Did not fit as advertised. Risks damaging my iPad.

This thing is well-built, looks good, protects my iPad and, most importantly for me, delivers a wonderful typing experience. To start, I love the build (mostly). It is solid and it is built with purpose. It has a built-in stand that allows for variable angles, a pen loop for an Apple Pencil/Logi Crayon (although sometimes I wish it weren’t there as I don’t really use either right now) and uses Apple’s smart connector technology. That means no charging, no issues with connectivity and quick and easy attachment. All very, very convenient. It makes moving from one task to the next so easy. Type an email, detach, head to the couch, and put on a movie. Seamless. It also helps negate my one real “issue,” with the device, its weight (i do wish no software was needed but there are the times). It definitely has some weight, not so, so much, but it is one thing for some to consider when tossing in a bag or on the go. It is no real issue for me, as I think it helps the typing experience as well as the protection it offers, but it is a bit much when you just want to lay back, chill, and read something. With how easy it is to detach; you can just drop the keyboard and you are off. Not perfect, but good. Still seamless, but maybe just a little less weight would be nice. Lastly, I think it just looks nice. The exterior surface is some type of woven fabric that I think will hold up well and just looks good. The keyboard is the best part for me. Sure, I like the protection the case provides, but this keyboard turns the iPad into such a better device for me. It’s a nice size, has great spacing, great variable backlighting, and is made from some materials that feel good on the palms. It is just great to type on. Beyond that, there is the “standard” type of OS shortcut function keys for things like volume, brightness…etc…The real bonus, and the thing that won me over for real, was the inclusion of a trackpad. It is a nice size and reacts well. It is not “mushy.” It also supports gesture controls. This combination of a great keyboard and a great trackpad has changed and enhanced how I use my iPad. I definitely still use it as a media consumption machine, but, now, I definitely tackle more productivity-type tasks as well. It is just so much easier and more pleasant to type away on this rather than on the screen itself. Perhaps it is the old in me talking here. The mouse and keyboard guy. Lastly, given all the ways Apple has been melding iPas OS and MacOS, it just enhances my ability to take advantage of those things. In the end, I was looking for a better typing and user experience, and this provides exactly that. You’ll have to look at how you use your iPad and what you need from it. If all you do is watch movies, read books, etc... this may not? be for you. If you want to do that and just have a “laptop” to do some work on as well, you should take a look. As I mentioned earlier, there is some heft, and I wish it were a bit easier to get in and out of the case (but I guess that is the way it should be) but know that your iPad is protected when you are packing it, using it, or out and about with it. Know that it gives you an excellent typing experience. For everything that I mentioned, I think this is a great value. Full stop…but especially when you consider some of the “other” pricier options out there.

I have owned and used practically every single generation of iPad, iPad Air, and iPad Pro, along with many of their accessories, including keyboards, both from Apple and from third-party companies such as Logitech. I have to unequivocally say that Logitech always comes through as the best when it comes to accessories for Apple products, especially their iPads. This "Combo Touch" is the best of all worlds--a keyboard, a trackpad, a case, a stand. The keyboard is comfortable to type on, the keys have good travel and are backlit (and you can adjust that light level). And I much prefer to use a trackpad over a mouse, especially with an iPad. As a case, it provides superior protection, without being too bulky. Of course it adds weight to the iPad, but that's to be expected, and in this scenario it is quite acceptable; it's not that bad. And the case itself is sleek and professional-looking, very minimalistic and classic. The stand can be placed at several different angles depending on your use case and folds discreetly away when not in use. But the best part, the feature that I loved the most about this keyboard/case/stand, is that the keyboard can be detached from the iPad quickly and effortlessly, so that you can use the iPad with just the case on it, which I do often. It's great to be able to utilize the iPad by itself for more casual use, and also to have the option to use the kickstand especially if I want to stream media, without having the keyboard sticking out in front of the iPad and taking up room. Which brings me to another great feature--the fact that the keyboard attaches and connects to the iPad via the iPad's smart connector, so no fussing around with a Bluetooth connection--it just automatically connects instantly. And no messing around with batteries or having to recharge the keyboard's batteries because it doesn't have any. It takes power straight from the iPad, but no worries because it does not drain the iPad's batteries significantly at all. The only very very slight thing that bugs me somewhat is that there is an attached rubbery-type loop at the top of the case (looking at it in landscape mode)/right side of the case (looking at it in portrait mode) for storage of a stylus such as an Apple Pencil or Logitech's own Crayon. While I appreciate this gesture I don't use a stylus with this iPad and so wish there was a way to cleanly remove it, yet short of busting out a pair of scissors and snipping it off, (which I am not inclined to do) it's permanently attached. Not a big thing, but it annoys me to have it there. Lastly, I need to address the cutouts. There's one for the power button/fingerprint sensor that's not too big but just right, same goes for the camera and speakers, but the one for the charging port may be a bit problematic depending on what charging cable you are using. If you're like me, you may have several USB-C charging cables around the house or office, some of which are official Apple ones and ones which are third party. I have found that a couple of my third party ones cannot fit into this cutout, which was a disappointment. Overall, I would highly recommend this combo case because it is so versatile and functional, not to mention sleek and stylish.

Starting off ive had previous gen logitech combo touch so i knew what i was going in to. These are amazingly robust cases with the added benefit of having a full keyboard WITH function keys and touchpad. The magnets are really strong so it gives a really satisfying click when it snaps together. The build quality is absolutely amazing and feels top notch.  The major thing I really dislike about this new one this year is the fact that you can NOT flip the keyboard around like you could on previous models. So when you don't want to use the keyboard portion you must remove it completely rather than flipping it to the back side like you used to be able to do. The magnets just reject you putting it on wrong or allowing it. So, note to anyone that is used to flipping it (me) this is annoying because I will set the keyboard down wherever i am and forget about it. Second thing that really got me was when I first plugged it up i got the message that my ipad needed the logitech app from the app store. When I downloaded it, i was greeted with a firmware update being required. It spent a few mins doing this and came up with an error message saying something went wrong. I tried 2 more times and again it did not complete and im not sure why which in turn makes the app not usable as you must be on the latest firmware. Third dislike on this is the case is insanely difficult to install to the point it felt like i was going to break my screen. The material has almost no give and since it surrounds the entire ipad this year it makes for a bad time trying to get it on.  This however lets you know that yes, the case is one of the most robust cases ive ever felt as always. From previous years this has been updated to no longer have a cutout for the apple pencil but has a storage loop built in to the case.This then provides full screen protection instead of having that bare if you drop it by accident. The keyboard feels like your typing on a laptop for better or worse this is what you expect when you buy one of these however it works well. Function keys are amazing to work with and you can even screen shot without presses just one key and boom. Of course there is no batteries so the backlit keyboard works off your ipad battery which does increase use but not so much that you genuinely notice and i never felt like it was a problem.  The touchpad is like all the windows style laptops where it uses a diving board style mechanical press so once you get about halfway up the pad you cannot press it anymore. This can be resolved in your ipad settings by turning on tap to click so its not a big deal but know it feels this way.  All things considered this is once again the most robust feeling cases and keyboard touch pads out there even more so than apples own product and logitech has been doing this thing great for YEARS now. Even with the small annoyances i pointed out im sure if i wasn't so used to the older ones i wouldn't really have an issue here. Highly recommend checking this option out before any other ones. 

Summary -------------- It’s a great keyboard and mouse/trackpad case which transforms your iPad into a laptop computer and with the new chipset on the new iPad it works great. Love the iPad trackpad and it is huge. The keys actually gives you a feel of a laptop. Not bulky, feels great and protects your iPad. Pros ------ 1. Sturdy - well built 2. Good quality keyboards/keys 3. Backlit 4. Large Keypad 5. Never needs battery 6. Logitech crayon holder Cons ----- 1. Not sure how durable is the fabric 2. Afraid of iPad popping out o the case. Details ----------- Design and build quality is great. The Logitech comes with a case and keyboard which can be detached. Once attaching to the iPad it will install the app from Logitech for pairing and once paired you are good to go. The case looks well built, can take a few falls. From a usage perspective, you can use it in various modes - Type, Sketch, Read and View. The keyboard does not get rolled back into the back of the case like the prior version. The keyboard has a full range of iPados shortcut. The keyboard is also backlit to be used in dark. They have a nice feel to it much like the MacBook. Overall I think it’s a great buy if you want to transform your ipad to a laptop.

Fit like a glove and I felt safe lugging my iPad around without worrying of drops and scratches. Out of the box, installation was a breeze and no tugging nor pulling happened unlike the previous case I used on my iPad. The opening for the camera and charging cable fit perfectly as well. The keyboard itself is very functional with the included trackpad. I can easily detach the keyboard from the case in times I don't do a lot of typing. But keeping the keyboard attached is fine because the case is lightweight. I love the sleek modern look of this case! The keyboard is smooth to touch, very quiet and responsive. I mostly browse the internet and my iPad felt like using a laptop with the trackpad-keyboard combo. Another thing I like about this case is that it does not need batteries. This works great for on the go because you will not need to charge it as it uses the iPad's power to operate, so I only need to bring my charger while I'm out and about. There is also a loop for my Apple pencil which is a nice thoughtful addition. I cannot say the durability yet because I only had this item for about a week, however, I can attest the protection this provides when I accidentally dropped my iPad on a wood flooring and no scratches nor dings on the corners and the case remained close. This is truly a well-thought out case that offers the needed functionality as well as protection for the iPad 10th gen and I highly recommend it for anyone who's looking for a case with a keyboard combo.

This is a great add-on for iPad that basically turns it into a laptop computer. Please make sure you have a 10th gen iPad before buying this. Opening the box and you find a very basic quick start quide, the case, and the keyboard. The case has a flap on the back that comes out enabling the iPad to be stood up. The case is stylish, well made, and comes with a receptacle for your Apple pencil if you use one. The keyboard is detachable and connects magnetically to the Smart Connector on the side of your ipad. Functionally, this product performs exactly as advertised. Having the keyboard physically connect to the iPad is infinitely better than the Bluetooth connectivity utilized by other keyboards. The keyboard is also backlit and has a full row of iOS function keys across the top. The keys are comfortably spaced, even for those with larger fingers and hands. The trackpad works very well too. Typing is responsive and the key push feels nice. All in all, this is a great keyboard and case. Highly recommend.

I do not care what anyone else may say but Logitech makes the best keyboard cases for iPads bar none. That is the case with this one here. The Combo Touch keyboard and trackpad case is another excellent iPad case. Seriously, this case puts its competitors to shame. The keyboard part is easily detachable from the back part of the case. This is handy if you just want to use your iPad as, I don't know, an iPad without the added keyboard. When attached the keyboard portion provides protection to your screen. There is an expandable rear leg thing to put the iPad in to whatever angle is best for you when typing. When they keyboard is detached it's handy to prop up your iPad to either watch videos or view web pages and what not. The case is a kind of fabric cover which is great to avoid unwanted finger prints on the back of the case. Also, the fabric provides a bit of 'grip' for holding your iPad securely. This is the third iPad case from Logitech I've owned and I just can't consider going back to any other accessory maker for protecting my iPads.
